Have had one like this for over 15 years. Never fails, and pocket knives and kitchen knives are always ready for use. That old one finally wore out. Rather than replace the sharpening blades, I just replaced the entire sharpener. It was getting a little beat up. The size and ease of use of this sharpener is what I like most.

I did some research on YouTube to see best knife sharper and this one was highly rated PROS: You can use for both flat and serrated knifes. Light weight and small enough to lit in drawer. I’ve used it several times, so far very impressed.CONS: Didn’t come with directions, had to YouTube them and then found an illustration on the top of the handle.

We use VRBO religiously when traveling and no matter the quality of the accommodations you are guaranteed dull kitchen knives. I am one of a couple of chefs in the group that travels and this is a must have travel tool. I keep it at home for use their as well. Works incredibly well and beats packing your knife kit and sharpening stone. Came in real handy for the Villa in Italy we shared with 8 other couples. Highly recommend.

I have been a cook for over 40 years and used many different knife sharpeners. Unquestionably, for the money, this is undoubtedly the best knife sharpener you can buy. The trick seems to be to follow the directions to not use too much pressure, but rely more on the number of strokes you use to sharpen the knife edge, I usually use 15-20 strokes. At this price, I’m tempted to buy another one as back up for when the one I have needs replacing. Strong endorsement.

Easy to use if you follow directions easily sharpen knives scissors with ease, I was going ro get my knives sharpen for $5 a knife with this Accu sharp knife and tool I save that money worth its weight in Gold ?

This sharpener is light weight and easy to hold. It’s also easy to use. You run the sharpener over a knife or tool blade. I bought this specifically to use for my gardening tools and have not used it for indoor kitchen knives or any other kind of knife. I used it for my pruners. Because the pruners don’t open very wide, I could only sharpen the outer half of the blade. However, it did sharpen that well. I think it only requires 3-4 passes of the sharpener to sharpen. Because I could only sharpen half the blade, if you’re doing a lot of cutting, you will need to sharpen it again fairly often but because it takes a lot less effor and time to sharpen, to me this is not a big deal. You run the sharpener over the blade. I also sharpened a pair of hedge clippers and it did a good job. Before I bought this sharpener, I had an older handheld Smith sharpener I was using for the hedge clippers and the last time I tried to sharpen them, it took at least 100 passes on each side of the clippers to get them somewhat sharp while pressing down as hard as I could. That was just too much effort. This sharpener is like no work comparatively and little time to sharpness. For $10 this is so much better than the old sharpener I had it’s unbelievable the difference. It’s also smaller width-wise which makes it easier to get the upper portions of the clipper blade sharpened unlike my old one. Even if this sharpener doesn’t last very long time, it’s inexpensive and effective. I would recommend this product.

I was so surprised at how well this works. I work in a restaurant and the cooks use these all the time so I put aside my doubts and bought one. I’ll never need to bring my knives somewhere to get them sharpened. These are fantastic and inexpensive!

A few swipes over the edge of a dull knife, and it will, indeed, cut through a plastic bag. A few more and it is REALLY sharp! Arrived quickly and safely. Exactly as described. This will sharpen knives, not scissors. They make that very clear. Good thing it was my knives that needed it. I am very pleased. Buy one and see.
