Bought for 2 reasons.1 use as an outdoor messy cooking device. Works great. And as an alternative to gas stove.Efficient, never knew how well induction cooking is. VERY. Makes me rethink our old school gas.Safe, although the surface might reflect pan heat and is hot to touch, nothing like standard electric or gas. No instant 3rd degree burn. No direct heat / fire near. But setting say a stainless steel tool on a live induction surface will heat the tool.2. Emergency cooking in case of disaster and on generator power.Just impressed with efficiency and safety the induction method is.Must have steel based cookware. Cast iron and stainless.Unit is light and thin, storage is easy.Con. LED readout difficult to see in bright light. Controls are non intuitive. Reads in watts , Fahrenheit and other, I think most people do not know or care what Watts are or wrt temperature. Will take practice, but it works nonetheless and I think worthwhile.I’d advise a 14 awg extension cord purchased concurrently if you don’t have one. Ie the bigger the better especially when over 6ft. Note the unit is insulated so its a 2tang plug, no ground needed. But buy a grounded plug anyway for versatility for use with other things.

I purchased this as assitence for when I have family over. My stove can only handle so much and having 2 additional burners, even for keeping things warm is very helpful. Without even reading the instructions I found it very intuitive to use. The temperature is still something I am getting used to as many times I find myself setting to high or too low. But…. It fast, gets things hot much faster than my electric stove. It bring my coffee to a boil in under 1 minute. I like it’s glassy design and flat built. The rubber legs keeps it from sliding even when I move my heavy pots and pans. When I don’t cook large amounts for guests in it, I use it for warming up food because of the convenience. Probably saves on electricity too since it is much faster at warming up. Happy with it so far

Easy to use, clean and less energy than traditional coil electric burners. Heats very quickly so need to be aware of that when using or you’ll burn your food and/ or kitchenware. Cooling fans are a little loud and there is a vibration that the induction coils create that most reviews do not mention.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this portable induction hob to have in my garage since we often have family gatherings and it was uncomfortable to enter the house to use the gas stove, I think I made an excellent choice, it is thin so I can carry it without any problem. I am a mother of 4 children and I always seek their safety above all else and something that I love is that this hob has a child safety lock, and pot detection, so as long as you do not place the pot on the surface it will show an error.It has a touch screen, individual temperature control and a timer for shutdown.Electric burner works with magnetic cookware, enameled steel, or magnetic stainless steel.

I like the product look, feel and ease of us. It heats up quick and cooks food well.My only issues is1) the pan kept sliding slowly and I found myself having to reposition the pan/pot on the burner. This could be dangerous if left unattended for a period of time or around small children.2) The center of the unit chip after 2 days and 3 times of use. (Sorry I didn’t take a picture). I dry fried some fries 2x and cook a steak in a aluminum grill pan and after I cook my steak I notice the chip in the center of the two burners. I like the glass look, but it should chip so easily. Make me wonder the long term quality of the stove3) It has preprogramed temp settings and you can’t change the temp outside those settings. Like I may want 450F temp instead of 464F which is the max temp. It would be nice if it had specific temp setting I could set.I returned the product because it chipped so easily, otherwise it is a decent product and get the job done.

Be aware that this product can be confusing because when it is off the indicator lights indicate that the unit is in “LO.“ It took me a while to understand that when the indicator lights say LO the unit is off. Other than that I really like this cooktop. It works really well for the price. Sometimes I wish it had more precision in the heat settings, but I find that it works very well.

Build my Shisha granny pod also known as a clubhouse four months ago nice kitchenette minus a stove so I bought this and I also bought a Emeril Lagasse portable smokeless air fryer grill. The whole works. I am very impressed with this item I bought here made mac & cheese easy to start up. Thank you for a good product.
