I love this little rice cooker. It took me a minute to figure out the instructions because it’s incorrect. The cup they use that they call “1 cup” is actually 3/4 cup in the US. So, if you want to make a full pot of rice (3 cups in US), then I recommend you take the rice measuring cup provided and pour in 2 “cups” of rice using that measuring cup. Fill that cup twice and pour in the rice cooker, then fill with water to the 2 cup line. Put the lid on and press the switch down to start cooking. In 23-25 minutes the rice is done. No boiling over, just perfect. The most important part? It made plenty of rice for my husband and I, which is about 4 big servings. Yay leftovers!

This is a great rice cooker! It’s the same as any other typical rice cooker, except smaller. My only real issue with it is it never stops cooking the rice, so if I’m not careful it will burn the bottom. However, I don’t follow the rice/water ratio guide it comes with, instead using my finger like I was taught to do growing up, so that may play a role in that. It’s not a big issue with the low price, and as long as you’re careful it makes awesome rice!

I like that this rice cooker is cute. It makes my kitchen feel complete. But this rice cooker is also one of the main reasons I’ve been eating more pasta than rice. The simplicity of warm/cook can be seen as a merit, but somehow you can’t help but wish there were a few more settings. Rice sometimes burns at the base of the pot. Most importantly: this is a 2-3 serving device. If you’re feeding any other number of people, then this isn’t the right pot for your daily use.

Overall reliable product – works great and is easy to store.I will say, mine arrived missing the rice cup and with rusted staples in the owners manual. I was unable to get in contact with their customer service so I’m not sure what that was about. Also worth noting this is VERY small – ideal for one person, so if you need to feed several people or just have a large appetite I would suggest a larger size.

Made simple brown rice adding heaping tsp. of chicken concentrate “Better than Bullion” to water.Plugged in cooker, moved lighted “Warm” button to “Cook” setting and 53 minutes later rice wasperfectly done with great flavor. Stirred warm rice, desired softer texture so added 1/4 cup water and moved switch to “Cook” until switch moved back to “WARM” Yes, Great tasting rice.

If you are a couple or live alone, this is the perfect sized rice cooker. It can make up to 4 cups cooked rice (1 cup dry). I use 1/2 c rinsed Basmati with 1 c of water, turn on the cooker and not think about it for 15 minutes. When the rice is cooked, it changes to the warming setting automatically, which is great if you are preparing other food. I’m impressed to get a good rice cooker with a small footprint at an inexpensive price.

I bought this to cook rice for my dog’s meals. By cooking 2 cups at a time, it lasts 2-3 days and the rice doesn’t go stale. I highly recommend. It’s easy to use, and easy to clean.
