I made yogurt in my new rice cooker! It doesn’t do everything for you. You have to heat the milk to 180 degrees (which can be done in the cooker) and then let it cool to 115 degrees. Taking the hot milk out to cool can be a little tricky because there’s nowhere to hold onto the inner pan and you have to use pot holders. After cooling, you put it back in the cooker with the culture & set the timer. Making it by this method, it comes out less tangy & sour than store yogurt. All the instructions for making yogurt are in the manual. I have also made rice in it and used it as a slow cooker. It works great and is easy to operate. On the slow cooker low setting it got hot enough to make mac & cheese stick. I probably should have switched it to “keep warm.”

I received this very fast and securely packaged. I cooked with it right after I got the delivery and of course cleaned it. It makes wonderful rice! I can’t wait to use all of the functions that it has! I will have to play with rice water ratio but other than that it was perfect! No problem with condensation escaping but again I have only made rice so I hope I don’t have that problem some people have had. I have owned quite a few rice cookers from very cheap to expensive but I have to say this by far is my favorite the see through lid is a bonus and the buttons are easy to read most have very small letters. It reminds me of a instapot but better I don’t have to worry about it exploding if it get too much pressure.I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a pretty much all in one cooker. A friend of mine has this and she uses hers for hot pot, which I love. The saute feature will come in handy when making a dish that calls for cooking onions garlic ect first then adding the protein. I will revise my review and add pictures when I makes other recipes with my new rice cooker.

After my first rice cooker or sixteen years died I finally had to get a new one. And since the last one was aroma brand, had to keep it going. I have tried soup, steamed veggies, white rice, basmati, brown rice, and even wild rice. All cooked great. This can make your rice super mushy so if you’re cooking jasmine long I found matching the cups of water to the cups of rice perfect as an fyi otherwise it got too soggy for me
