This seems to be a good product. It worked well on a recent two week car trip. We did not want a large cooler, so we bought this one. I do not think that it will actually hold 15 cans of soda, but I did not actually test it. It is not very deep, so it will not take a 16.9 oz soda bottle standing up. It will hold a few standard sandwiches (no footlongs), a couple of soda cans and a few other small items. This worked fine for us, but if you have lots of stuff to go in, you probably need a larger cooler. Be aware this product is made to keep things cold that have already been cooled beforehand. If you put a hot soda can in there, it is not going to cool it down very well. Also, be aware that it works best if you put some frozen ice packs inside. You might need to purchase some small size ice packs like we did. And of course, this will use up some of your limited cooler volume. I feel the cooler was close to what I expected from the description and it has worked as claimed.

Update: AstroAI contacted me after I left my initial review. They sent me troubleshooting steps which were unfortunately unsuccessful, but then sent a replacement unit and a return label for the defective unit. Iβm happy to report that the replacement unit has been working flawlessly since I received it, and Iβm pleased with the customer service I received. Everyone I interacted with was courteous and my case was handled very quickly.Note: I was not asked to alter my review in exchange for the replacement mini fridge.I’ve had this AstroAI Mini Fridge for about 10 months. My first impressions were great – I loved the digital temperature control on the front of the unit, the portability of it (it even has a handle), and the ability to use it via a 12v outlet, even though it was destined for my office. For the first 9 months, it was great. It kept my cold drinks and snacks right at the set temperature, and we even used it to temporarily store some flu vaccines that needed refrigeration. I stuck a lab grade thermometer with an alarm inside to ensure the temperature never exceeded a defined maximum, and the unit did not disappoint. Then, around the 9-month mark, the front panel simply fell off. Assuming an adhesive had let go, I reattached the panel with tape. It kept working, and the temperature never rose above the 38 degree set point.Around the 10-month mark (a few weeks ago), the unit decided that 58 degrees was as cold as it would go. I tried the basic troubleshooting steps – unplugged it, adjusted the temperature, checked for obstructions, and ensured proper clearance – but it will not get any colder than 58 degrees. The warming function works fine and the unit heated up to the temperature I had set (85 degrees), but simply will not cool below 58 degrees. The manual offers no additional troubleshooting steps. So, while I was initially pleased with the purchase, the reliability issues are an issue for the price. I will be attempting to remedy by contacting the manufacturer as the unit is under warranty, and will update this review if I am able to do so.

This little guy does what it says it will do.Took it up to illinois from Texas and back and ran it on my Jackery power station til I used up the power station and ran on car battery. PERFECT!!!before I used it I had the “fridge” run all night empty and placed the cold food from reg fridge in the little guy. Stayed cold all the way

I’ve owned this fridge a little over a year and it has now lost the ability to cool itself and will not go below 58 degrees in a 70 degree room. Loved the fridge but can’t recommend if you only get one year of use

I’ve had this AstroAI Mini Fridge for 8 months. When I first received it, I was happy with it. Now- it’s making loud noises, temp is saying 152′ F and won’t cool right. I feel for the money vs. other brands this should last well over a year+. I’ve cleaned it, unplugged it let it sit and restarted it. Still no improvement. If you’re looking for a temporary skincare fridge that’s lasts less than a year, this is the one. Otherwise, I wouldn’t waste your time and money on it.

The price is just right for this mini fridge. I use this as a fridge in my office to keep my lunch and snacks cool. Itβs light weight and takes up no space. Highly recommended for 1 person use

From 12-15 feet away, it is 36 decibels (rustling leaves). Unless you are either hard of hearing or enjoy a fan that turns on and off continually… I wouldn’t use this to keep things cool in a room you’re staying in.
