It’s a good pot, as everything new plays a good role. The color is beautiful, it adds beauty to the kitchen countertop, the green material looks like a kind of rubber, which I liked a lot because it doesn’t wrinkle… But there are two points in which as a housewife, mother of 3 children and wife I don’t I found it interesting. For a house with so many people, we can imagine that a product needs to be good and durable because it will be used more than in a house with fewer people. The way the lid opens, you need to twist the top button of a handbag, it is made of a much inferior material than the pan, I believe that in a short time the rosegold applied will come off and that will make the pan beautiful look horrible. The second point is the front part where you have the functions, it has everything written very tightly, you end up having to use your fingertips to choose a function, your nail ends up touching and I also predict that in a short time it will be unusable. It’s not a cheap product, so I think they should think more about how everything actually works in practice when you have to use this product every day, several times a day or constantly. But overall it’s a good product.

The rice I made (sushi rice) turned out very good at the preset time. I was able to use it with no problem on my 1000 watt Jackery power station and it used very little power. Itβs only draw back is cleaning the lid as it is not removable , nor is the rubber gasket. So it has to be done by hand, getting in to the crevices if any of the rice water, etc boiled up into it.

Have to put a towel down under while making rice because the water spills out of the top of the pot and makes a huge mess

Easy to use right out of the box. I love rice, but I hate hauling out the full sized rice cooker. I always seem to make too much, and it just takes up more room in the sink when I leave it there to be cleaned. This little unit is the perfect size for small batches of rice for my husband and me (empty-nesters). It would also be great for a dorm or somebody in a small apartment. It looks good on the counter and is super easy to use. I just added my rice and water in about a half hour later had a few servings of delicious, perfectly cooked, steamy rice. It can also be used to make soups, oatmeal, and yogurt, although I doubt I will personally use it for anything other than brown rice. I also love that the lid pops up and isnβt a separate piece that can get separated from the rice maker. All in all highly recommended. It is small and attractive enough to leave out on the counter.

This is a great little cooker to hold enough rice or porridge or even pasta (more on that later!) for 2-3 people. It would be perfect for college roommates, young married couples, or empty nesters too!I tried pasta (which is not one of the automatic settings)! If you’re curious, i put in about 4 ounces of lentil pasta (half a spaghetti box) with 4 cups of water and pressed the “brown rice” setting. I figured it would need the longer cooking time. When it counted down the last minutes, i opened the lid and stirred and then left it until it the “warming” button lit up red. The pasta was done beautifully al dente. If you want it more done, you have the option of restarting it maybe on a shorter setting like oats or white rice. But the brown rice setting worked well for me.Likes:-I appreciated that i can open up the lid and check or stir the contents while it is cooking-It doesn’t take much counter space or cupboard space-you can time things to end right before you need them like oatmeal for breakfast or rice right at dinner time-it’s simple enough to use right away without a lot of instructions (though i would appreciate some)-it is very convenientConcerns:-water on counter: I didn’t fill the water to fill line. I only used 4 cups and the inside line shows maybe two more cups of water could be added. Yet, some water leaked out i think from the accumulating stem. It’s not a big deal, i just learned to put a towel or paper towels around it when using it and not have any electronics near it in case the water would damage them. I have yet to cook something filled all the way up to the fill line, and i would guess that would make more water spill or steam out, so beware of that.-Steam inside readout: The digital reading get steamy which makes me nervous–is there supposed to be steam and water getting into the inside electronics?–seems dangerous!-The instructions are very limited. They don’t really tell you what time to put for anything and though they say how long each setting is and the ratio for rice and oats to water, they don’t have exact recipes so i had to sorta guess. It would be really helpful to have like specific instructions how to use the different settings and recipes for different foods.

Right out of the box I was so excited as it is very pretty. Much prettier than my old rice cooker. I promptly washed everything and started my brown rice. The instructions are a bit lacking and no recipes or anything for ideas to spice up the meal. I did the 1:2 ratio, but my rice was watery. It was fully cooked, but generally brown rice is super absorbent. I will have to experiment to get this right. A couple of things concerned me as it if beeps when it is done, I did not hear anything. When I went to check on if it was completed cooking, the lighted areas were in a strange place and the only way I saw to turn it off was to unplug it. There were numbers showing in the window which meant nothing to me. Now on to the parts themselves. The weight is good, and the look is fancy, but not sure for how long the gold will last. I struggled to remove the inner lid and when it finally came off for a washing, I noticed the rubber gasket is very flimsy. Not sure how that will last over time. Iβm having some reservations with this unit. It is ok and did cook my rice which is the main purpose.
