I really enjoy this little thing, especially for hard boiled eggs! I have noticed that the time recommendations in the instructions are a tad off for some foods and I often have to go a step or two up to get the desired results. But overall, if you want to make your own purees or just want steamed food for BLW this is definitely a good thing to have on hand.

This is the best steamer I’ve used. The one star reviews are people who don’t follow directions and don’t clean items. Also the one who said rust on her yellow squash. It was burnt from her heating it and not adding enough water. I’ve done the exact same thing.I have made most of my sons purees. Now that we are off WIC I can start making his purees again. I have made 88oz of butternut squash. It was huge. You must clean everything rufht away to keep from staining. The hard boiled egg holder works perfectly! I will be cutting out pumpkins and pureeing then into apple cinnamon pumpkin purees for my toddler. It’s great for the whole family!And when I’m at work I use it to steam my pumping items. Then when I get home I go ahead and wash them thoroughly. With soap and water. But at work I steam them just so I can get back to work quickly.
