Wife and I looked at many steamers, some even more expensive, before settling on this one. She liked the looks of it plus it is a double decker. Had it over a month and use it at least twice a week. Works great and easy to clean up. Don’t waste your money on more expensive steamers when this one will fill your every need.

I bought this steamer to replace my old Black & Decker unit. The good: great unit for steaming and versatile with two levels of potential cooking. Also, either tray will fit the base if you want to balance usage (I mostly use 1 at a time). The lid fits both chambers. The bad, or could be better: the rotary dial has a chrome ring with the cooking time numbers that is VERY difficult to read. I have a well lit kitchen but have to shine a flashlight on the dial to see numbers. If Bella folks are listening a ring with darker min markers would be a great decision. Also, the manual list suggested cook times and I saw a comment someone made over cooking rice. It cooks the rice fine but the number of minutes listed is too low (2 cups need about 50 minutes, not half that time). Same for pole beans. If your using this add a few more minutes than what’s listed. Overall a good product that’s reasonably priced.

This steamer cooks well on vegetables; I use this a lot when steaming my favorite cabbages but one thing I have a problem with this is setting up a timer. It only runs clockwise; if you set up a wrong timer, you can’t turn back. I hope this timer would be improved somehow.

It’s easy to use, easy to clean and doesn’t take up a ton of space. I’ve been using it to steam veggies and eggs, and the time recommendations that are on the appliance have so far proved to be pretty darn good!
