   It’s a decent toaster. Does a decent job. I have no complaints.I have to laugh at some of the complaints I read in other reviews.1) Someone was complaining it toasted unevenly but from their photos it didn’t look so bad at all to me. Picky picky picky! This one does a GREAT job AND does well with a single slice whereas the other toaster I bought at Amazon did a HORRIBLE job with a single slice of bread! I’ve attached a photo of both sides of a single slice when only one toaster compartment was used. That’s plenty even for me!2) Someone complained about the cord being too short. The other toaster was the same. I think toaster companies make then short as a safety feature the longer the cord, the hotter it potentially can get. Also it is a pain that3) Someone complained the cord comes out of the front of the toaster. The other toaster was the same. I think it’s easier to design them that way because it’s closer to the on/off mechanism and they can also keep the cord shorter that way for the reasons above.4) Someone complains it’s hard to get your slice out and they had to put a knife in the toaster to pull the bread out. Hint – You can push the lever UP after the toast pops up and that makes it really easy to take your toast out.5) Someone complains the toaster is too light. It *is* a lot lighter than a heavy old fashioned kind but the other new one I used is designed just as light. Call it progress LOL!5) This next one is no laughing matter! Someone said their toaster (this model) got stuck in the on position when they left their house even though it was off when they finished using it, and it got so hot they are lucky something didn’t catch on fire while they were gone! I’ve read stories online of toasters getting stuck turned on and in more than one case the toaster actually *did* burn down the house. I think it’s important with ALL toasters to unplug the cord whenever not in use for safety reasons. Those cheap mechanisms are not reliable and the consequences can be catastrophic. I mean how hard is it to unplug when done and plug back in to use it? I recommend doing that with EVERY toaster. It does bother me that someone documented *this* exact toaster of having that issue, but again, unplugging is a precaution I’d recommend with EVERY toaster.I had an old toaster oven and just didn’t like the way my toast came out. It was VERY uneven. Then I bought an air fryer partly because it can be used as a toaster, but all air fryers are VERY loud and it was hard to toast evenly without drying out the bread out to an unacceptable degree. Try three – I bought another toaster which was actually a few bucks more on Amazon and it did a horrible job when toasting only one slice. This toaster works much better than the other. Of the four ways I’ve recently tried toasting bread this is the winner! I’m gladly keeping it thank you very much!

   An attractive, basic toaster but clearly a model built to its reasonable price point. On the toaster’s first day, the outer left heating element arced dangerously, then glowed bright yellow and ignited the toast. Fortunately, I was watching as this excitement unfolded and was able to respond promptly to avert a more serious fire. Afterward, both outer elements fail to heat up. Perhaps the unit was damaged while being shipped/abused, as the manufacturer’s box arrived with multiple puncture wounds on one side. Upon request, Amazon promptly replaced the defective unit and the new one appears fully functional.

   Awesome little toaster! Makes perfect toast without burning. I gave up my Sears $90 toaster which would burn everything and set off my smoke alarm. This toaster is wonderful and such a great price. Very happy I chose this one.

   This is perfect for my bagels, frozen waffles and toast. I love the contemporary style, It heats to perfection and love the tray on the bottom for crumbs instead of having to lift toaster over. Highly recommend it.

   Basic, simple for a senior to figure out, nice wide slots, doesn’t take up much room on counter
