Slightly awkward to pour the water in. I tilt the coffee maker to make it easier. It would e better if the base was flat. Itβs molded to want a certain size coffee cup and I use all kinds so they donβt sit flat, but it works, the coffee is hot, and flavor is good.

Everything is good except the mug it comes with. Not good for such hot beverage in a plastic cup

The good: It works with my existing Yeti 20 oz travel mug (there’s nothing wrong, per se, with the mug that comes with it, but it’s a little smaller than I’m used to, and I prefer to drink coffee, which is after all a hot and acidic substance, out of a stainless steel mug rather than a plastic one; I should also point out that though it fits a 20 oz mug, you can still only pour 16 oz of water into it, or it will overflow), and the basket is easy to clean out and doesn’t require a filter. The bad: It leaks a bit around the mug itself. I fold up a paper towel and put it under the mug, which makes the problem manageable, but it’s still not ideal. Given the $25 price point, this isn’t really a fatal flaw, so I think it still deserves four stars. I’ve had it for about a month and a half now, and it’s chugging along, but I can’t yet speak to its longevity. Time will tell if it keeps all four of those stars.

I drank coffee daily at work, from one of those corporate kitchen coffee makers, but when we went to wfh, I stuck with tea because I didn’t have a coffee maker at home. After reading more and more articles about coffee being good for you, I thought I’d get an inexpensive machine and see how it went. This one takes pods, which can be hard to find, but the brand I found on Amazon has excellent flavor, and this chintzy little machine makes it perfectly! It’s so small and lightweight, I take it with me when I go to my mom’s, and she now likes it better than her Keurig that’s been sitting in a cupboard for a year. And the pods are more eco-friendly than the plastic k-cups. This machine does have a filter basket for loose grounds but it let a lot of grounds through, so you still need a paper filter. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money, so I’m really happy with this purchase!

It accommodates a 16 ounce cup. There is no mechanical arm to rotate back over the coffee basket. The hot water distributary is attached to the lid and lowers back over your grounds. The holes distributing the hot water cascades over your fresh ground coffee. This is an excellently designed coffee maker. The included 16 ounce coffee mug seems fine but I do not use it. I utilize my 16 ounce stainless steel double insulated mug. The only drawback to this product is that there is no drip reservoir to catch the small drips after you remove your mug. I simply place an expresso stainless steel shot glass under it after I remove my mug. I strongly recommend this product especially for those who prefer a 16 ounce cup of coffee. I paid $26.00 for this. Well worth every penny.

Update – I have had this little one cup coffee maker for over 6 months now and it is still as reliable as the day I got it. My coffee is hot, tasty – just the right amount because I only drink one cup in the morning. I clean the innards once a week in the dishwasher and they clean beautifully. When I look at all the $4 coffees I bought every day for decades, I could kick myself! I can’t recommend this strongly enough. It’s been a workhorse for me.

I love this little coffee maker. It doesn’t take up anywhere near as much space as a Keurig and makes my coffee right in my travel cup!

Cord to short. Tasted pretty good but will add more coffee next time 3 tablespoons isnβt enough.
