I love this hot pot. Had scraped by with an old electric skillet until I saw this. It was exactly what I needed! The divided pot is genius because the vegetarians can dine with the carnivores or the spice lovers can be with the bland folks. It’s a win win. I like that it’s electric – simple to use. Each side holds 6+ cups of fluid. However, because one side doesn’t heat at the same rate as the other, just 4 stars.

So far so good. Comparable to my old electric pressure cooker, Cooks Essential, that died on me after 7 years. I have only cooked with it 1 time so far and it seems great. The only thing I am unsure of is the instant release option….seems weird since I am not used to it but it works as described by the manufacturer. I will update my review if needed after a few more uses.

I had been looking for a dual sided cooker for a long time. So many of them were cheap quality but pretty expensive. The metal ones looked so thin and flimsy compared to this. This cooker was the perfect solution!

My purchase was based on my craving for steel cut oats. I wanted to be able to make a pot of slow cooked oats ready for the first thing we wake up to in the morning. This product is worth every penny. There is a slow cook option. With that I am able to adjust the timer to 8 or 9 hours. When that time is up it automatically goes to the Keep Warm mode. The main feature that both my wife and I like is the ability to pul the mail bowl out and clean it. If you remember the crock pots from a few years back, washing the inside was a balancing act try to keep the pot up and not to get the controls wet or drop into the water. That is not a problem here. The ease of cleaning was beyond our expectations. And here’s the fun part. We are now able to get rid of the old pressure cooker and steamer and crock pot and rice cooker – this one appliance has replaced four separate appliances freeing up much needed cabinet and storage space.Plans now involve stews, chili, pasta, bean soups, casserole, and even some deserts. The only minus is the intructions or directions were really lacking any detail at all. If you have experience with former crock pot cooking, you pretty much know what to expect in terms of times and temperatures.
