Really loved this product. No temp control, just boiling but that’s all i needed and the price was very attractive for a recognizable brand. I purchased this product on Jul 17, 2020 and about a month or two ago, it began leaking at the bottom where the metal attaches to the base. I’ll need to purchase another kettle, but honestly this one was perfect for the price and I feel like i got the value that i wanted for what i purchased. It was heavily used for over two years for my morning cup of coffee and was shared with a tea drinker or two so i think overall pretty good product for the price

If you have been looking for a kettle, donโt hesitate on buying this one! It is so simple and easy to use and does not whistle to let you know when itโs ready, which I appreciate because I have a small house and two kids, and I like to have tea after they go to bed. You can hear the button flip up when it is done though so youโll know! I had been wanting a kettle for a long time and hesitated on buying one and I wish I had this a long time ago. I use this multiple times a day every single day and have not had an issue with it. Buy it!

This is a very easy to use and clean kettle. Right now I use it mainly for matcha and teas, however I look forward to utilizing the gooseneck to make pourovers easily!

Takes about 5 minutes to boil water. Looking at steam cap it looks different from the models from the previous year, in the old ones it looks like a silicone or plastic cap is on it but this one is metal. Steam goes out from the bottom on slots on the bottom of the kettle. Unlike kettles of lower quality the first boil does not smell bad which is great. Kettle is harder to clean. They say to wipe it down but people with small heads will have a hard time wiping it down like the guide says. I’d suggest using a twisted paper towel and maybe long cooking chopsticks to absorb the majority of it while leaving a paper towel along the edge of the inside to absorb any remaining liquid. Because of the steam spout cleaning it with soap and water will be pretty much out of the question and using water and vinegar is pretty much the only choice. Will provide an update on this kettle after further use.

Cool kettle for 1/3rd cost of similar ones. Other reviewers noted a piece of plastic/silicone on the inside but it seems Bodum may have heard you and replaced it with metal. One drawback that gives this 4 stars (keep in mind I only paid $30 sale price): I give the top cork on the lid a few weeks before it rips off. It’s also crooked. It just seems really weak and you have to tug on it to get the lid off. Tiny screw. If Bodum solidified that top cork on the lid, this would be five stars.

Bought this almost a year ago and love it! It looks stylish on my countertop, heats the water quickly, has a nice controlled pour. I really can’t say anything bad about it.

Love the gooseneck spout and color. I like the cork more than I thought I would
