   For years I’ve been using these blenders to make protein drinks. I started with Braun. It last quite a few years before it broke. I replaced it with another well known and popular brand which I never liked because it was too heavy. I replaced it with a less expensive unknown brand which I really liked, partly because it was lighter and it was easy to use, but a small plastic part broke after a couple of years. I just bought this “new” Braun, but they’ve changed it; it seems heavier and I don’t like the release button for the blade – I have arthritis and it’s more difficult than it needs to be. You know the old saying “why fix it if it ain’t broke?” Why don’t companies listen. This is not an improvement on the old product!

   I’ve been using my Braun immersion blender for SIX YEARS and it still works perfectly! I use it almost every day, mostly for smoothies with lots of frozen berries, etc. I love how it really smooths out spring greens and spinach. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

   I don’t know why i didn’t buy one sooner. Made Thanksgiving cooking so much easier. Small and easy to clean and move on to the next! Took a star off for the cheap plastic feel of the connection. But hoping it will last

   This stick blender is great. I use it all the time to make homemade mayo. It’s also great in making soups and dips.

   I got this for soapmaking. I’ve never used one before so I have nothing to compare it to however I feel like the motor gets hot too quickly. It’s kinda bulky for my hand and I wish it had 3 settings instead of just two. It’s easy to clean. Cuisinart Art was the recommend brand but I couldn’t justify paying that much money when Braun is a reputable brand. So far so good.
