   This Brentwood Model SK65 skillet showed up a couple days early which was fantastic. The packaging was perfect. It worked for us without using any oil. Booklet suggested cleaning with alcohol. We used baby wipes and it was immaculate after cooking pancakes. My model works, and I am sure customer service would be helpful if I needed them.

   Had to return it. 1. (others have said this) The temp markings on the dial are absurd. It is designed as a cheap graphic, rather than having easy to read numbers. 2. For storage in a cupboard (sideways) it has an un-neccessarily tall knob assembly on the lid. Under the knob is a thick ring with the vent holes. 3. I’m noticing -on 2 different (flat) surfaces- it wobbles a bit. 4. The heat is NOT uniform, only a ring in the middle. 5. To cook a pancake (why I bought it), the setting had to be at 80%, yet it cooked only the part that was over the ‘ring’ of heat, the rest of it was raw.A shame, because the wire was heavy gauge, it was otherwise a solid unit with thick non-stick coating. The engineers need to tweak the heating element.

   One of the legs was broke where it connects to the body of pan. Appears to have had the screw that holds it in place, way over torqued when it was put on. I am gluing it together an hope that will work.If all else fails I will go to duck tape. Friend told me to send it back. I told friend I would pay him &5.00 to do it and then he shut up. Returns are a major pain.

   A little disappointed in this skillet. The connection doesn’t seem tight and it only seems to get hot on the high setting.

   Food toward the outside off pan did not brown evenly. Will give it one more try and will send back if it doesn’t get better.
