Let me start by saying Iβm like most other people that seem to be looking to buy a Bunn coffee maker in that Iβve used them for years. My previous maker made it 6 years. (Manufactured in 2013 and went out 3 days ago) it probably would have lasted longer but I have very hard water, never filtered it, and never cleaned the maker, NEVER. After taking it apart to see if it could be fixed I had a very good view of what that hard water did to my coffee maker. This time I will be using filtered water and will be cleaning the maker once a month. Now, with all that said, I did read all or most of all the negative reviews and seen where people saidβThe filter basket will overflow water and coffee groundsβ-βThe coffee maker smelled like burning plastic for 2-3 days from initial useβ-βYou canβt get the maker to make a strong enough cup of coffeeβ-βThe coffee temperature is not hot enough after it finishes brewingββBunn coffee makers use to be great now theyβre junk, donβt wast your moneyβNow as far as all of the complaints above Iβve experienced none. I like real strong coffee so I fill the filter almost full of coffee(itβs strong trust me) it doesnβt overflow on me. Itβs hot enough that if you pour a fresh cup and try and take a big drink youβre going to scald the inside of your mouth. No burning plastic smell at all. Completely brews a pot of coffee in 3 minutes. Oh yeah, I read where some said you have to fill up the water tank after every pot of coffee brewed or remember to turn off the water tank switch or youβll burn up the heating element. Thatβs completely wrong because once you get enough water in the maker that the water begins to come out into the pot thereβs always water in the tank unless you turn the maker upside down and drain it. I gave this Bunn 5 stars all the way across. My only and last question is how long will it last. If it goes out before 3 years Iβll let you know. Thanks for taking the time to read this and I hope it helped you out on your decision.

The drip method is my least favorite (my first place picks are all vacuum brewers). What I wanted was a space friendly, quick brewer with consistent flavor, ease of use, and simple cleaning. My best hope was finding a unit that could hit those marks and last. I did not realize Bunn still made these.Fast, consistent brew, and cannot be easier to use, and maintain.I would prefer a slightly larger brew basket, too fully support coffee shop standards on water to ground weight, but in 20 years or so, when this unit gives out, maybe they’ll have that option. If you want the best flavor possible from your coffee gear, get a burr grinder and a vacuum pot. For quick cups, this is the best option you’ll ever find.

I have owned a bunn coffee maker for 27 years. So when my old one went out, I bought this one. Makes a pot really fast because of the storage tank of heated water.

I finally got a Bunn coffee maker and wish I would have bought one years ago. It simply does the job the right way! Why buy a cheap coffee maker every couple years when you can get an awesome Bunn maker that will probably last 15-20 years or more? Plus itβs way more enjoyable to drink. Get one of these coffee machines you wonβt regret it. Makes coffee the way it should be. Hot and tasty!
