I just received it today. This is a review for the appearance of the skillet and depth. I will have to say that this is far from being EXTRA DEEP. I am replacing my bella square electric with this and thinking it would be as deep but I was very wrong. This skillet measures in at 1 1/2 inches deep which is plenty for most every thing but frying chicken. Splatters is less likely in deeper pans which I loved the bella for that. The skillet does seem very light and appears to be held together with a single screw in the bottom which pulled the top cooking part so tight it dented the cooking surface but I see no reason it will effect the cooking of anything but in due time will tell. Cleaning will be harder due to the fact you can not submerge the skillet in water. The lid is very nice and has a stem hole. Once I use it for a while cooking I will follow up on review.Tonight whilefrying pork chops it decided to stop working. 8 months of use is a sorry product. Stay way from this electric pan. Due to the fact it did not even last a year. I have to rate it even less tonight.

I bought this for use in my RV. For the very low price I am satisfied at this point. It is very light weight which is a plus for RV use. It feels kind of flimsy. I don’t think the handles on the sides will hold up to any kind of pressure. Giving 4 stars because of the low price. Deducting one star due to the description even in the manual claim that this skillet is “extra deep” when in fact it is EXTRA SHALLOW! I have never seen such a shallow electric skillet. Due to the large diameter I think it will be OK.

I bought this skillet to get a pan that is flat on the bottom. My regular skillets don’t work well on my glass top electric stove. This skillet cannot be submerged in water, so it’s somewhat cumbersome to clean, especially after frying food such as fish, hamburgers, bacon, etc. Fortunately, the surface cleans easily. Other than the cleaning issue, I like the skillet and use it regularly. It heats evenly and browns the food nicely with a minimum of oil. The temperature control is typical of electric skillets in that you need to adjust the temperature throughout the cooking process.

This is the first time I have used an electric pan. Heated up evenly and quickly and no issues with cleansing. Per the instructions, use an extension cord that is rated for this pan. [You can Google how to check that information.] This is also great if you need an extra pan when all of the burners are being used. Iβm glad and pleased that I bought this.
