I had been using another brand of immersion blender for over 2 years and finally (after much grief) realized it was causing the air bubbles in my cold process soap. So I began shopping for IBs that specifically mentioned NOT causing air bubbles. This IB is perfect-powerful enough but doesn’t pull air into the soap batter. Was reasonably priced to boot. Love it and recommend it.

Blending tool doesn’t fit on the shaft. It’s threaded and it doesn’t fit. Blade fell off during first use. Unfortunately, I threw out the box and packing material before I used it because I didn’t anticipate any problems….. on hunt for a better unit.Upped rating. After filing a warranty claim on this site, seller contacted me and they are sending a replacement. Will let everyone know what happens when I get the new one.Update 2… Received a new unit at no charge. Appears to work as advertised. The blade is firmly attached on this one.Very pleased with the companies response and resolution to the original defective unit.

Handle doesn’t stay twisted on very well even when you twist it til it clicks in place.I do not recommend buying this immersion blender. Get a different one.
