I bought this one after the one I had before failed after three months because of a cheap on/off switch. That had been the only one I had been able to find that kept my tea hot all day and it was the second one I had gotten of that model because the first one had the same cheap switch that only lasted a year and half, but I felt it had been worth it until the second one broke so soon.I use a porcelain mug for my tea and it doesn’t have the perfectly flat bottom that is recommended for most of these warmers, but this one keeps my tea hot all day, at the perfect temperature (highest setting) that I like it to be when it comes time to take a sip. The only thing I don’t like about this one is the automatic shutoff, but at least it blinks when it shuts off to let me know the plate is still hot, so I just touch it again and it turns back on and I’m good for another 4 hours. (It doesn’t sense when I pick up the cup and reset itself, as some other reviewer seemed to think it did. It stays on for four hours after it’s turned on and then it goes off until it’s turned on again.)I work all day in my home office and this one has a nice long cord so it’s easy to place it on my desk where I want it to go and there’s still plenty of cord left to reach the place where I plug it in. It looks nice on my desk (I got the green because I didn’t want the dark blue), does what it’s supposed to do and seems to work well. There are no moving parts to break, so I’ll see how long this one lasts, but it should be good for a while unless the electronics go bad (like so many others do these days).Very pleased so far and highly recommend. Only time will tell how well it holds up over time.

This is a nice mug warmer. I like that it has 3 settings although I only use the hottest setting. I’m sure there are people out there that will have plenty of uses for the other 2 settings but for me they just don’t keep the temperature where I like it. Even the hottest setting doesn’t to a fantastic job but it’s enough. My previous mug warmer held a higher temperature and seemed to keep the coffee at the same temp as when I poured it. This one keeps it at a temperature that seems like the cup has been sitting out for 10min or so, but in the bright side, it doesn’t get any colder than that unless you lower the temp setting. Overall not a bad buy, just depends on the temperature you like to drink your beverage.

Even though this beverage warmer has two different temperature settings, the hotter one is not hot enough. And I really don’t like overly hot beverages either. Also, and this is happening more and more, it’s WAY too easy to accidentally turn it on. Very Dangerous. Disappointed.

It really doesn’t keep your coffee in a clear glass mug hot at all. I cover my cup with a paper towel and it just keeps it room temperature.
