I got this to keep my coffee hot while working. There are no controls of any kind, it’s pressure sensitive so it clicks on with weight when plugged in. Just be careful if not in use & plugged in- anything can cause it turn on with some pressure.

I bought the heater to keep ceramic bowls of baby food warm while I was syringe-feeding my sick dog. Before buying the little heater, I had to microwave-warm the baby food, then warm it up again, midway through the meal: bowl of baby food in one arm, sick doggo in the other. The little charger did keep the bowl of baby food warm if I heated the bowl of food in the microwave first. However, if I warmed up the food starting just with the heater, it would take eons to heat up the food. Also, once it was heated, I had to quickly take the bowl off of the heater, or it would get way too hot. The safety feature was useful: the heater shuts off immediately if the bowl is removed. Just don’t accidentally put anything else (like a book) on the surface of the heater!

I was genuinely surprised by the packaging because it comes in such a cute box that I have added this to my list of potential gifts for friends, family, and coworkers. I am using this in my office at school in two ways: I am going to use this to keep my coffee warm in the mornings but I am also using this as a candle warmer since we’re not allowed to have open flame in the office so this is a good alternative way to still utilize/have candles around. It is such a cute color and matches my office decor. I appreciate the price point because while it might be slightly more expensive than other options, this quality is not as cheap as those other options. I’ve bought the cheaper ones before but they don’t last.

After debating the different available options out there I decided to give this cup warmer a try. It cam in a nice gift-able box that looks like a present. Comes with the warming plate & a silicone cup cover to help keep heat in. I can’t believe how well it works (as gross as this is, I can come back the next day & warm a full glass up after it sitting cold all night to an perfectly hot cup, ‘I use a regular coffee cup’)! Now everyone’s preference on ‘hot’ is different but I wouldn’t want my tea or coffee any hotter or I’d likely burn my mouth. I like the time setting function. As s safety precaution I do flip the surge protector power switch when I leave the office for the night, just in case. Get one for your desk, highly recommend!
