Overall I’m quite impressed. I bought this to deep fry chicken in because my old induction cooktop would overheat before it got to 360° and I was tired of trying to regulate the temperature on my gas stove. So, just to test it out, I put 1.5” of cooking oil in a 10 inch cast-iron Dutch oven pot. In “FRY” mode It reached 360° in 13 minutes. I let it go to see how hot it would get (still set on “FRY 360°) if I just let it sit there. It appeared to top out at 390° at 36 minutes. So, at 41 minutes, still hovering at 390°, I lowered in a small batch of frozen tater tot’s. They cooked in about 7 minutes. The oil temperature when I took the tots out was about 325°. It heated back up to 360° in 2 minutes! Now, I realize this is only 1.5” of oil so it might take longer with more oil, but I thought it performed well. The timer will let you know how long you have had the unit on if you don’t set the timer for a specific amount of time. The manual that came with it says “60 minutes “on” in a two hour period” in the safety instructions section. I could not find any other explanation about how long the unit would run in the manual. So, after the tots were done, I left the unit on to see if it would stay on longer than 60 minutes by itself and it did. The timer can be set for up to 3 hours. The unit did not smoke or have any strange smells coming from it when I used it. I hope this lasts a long time. For the price, you can’t beat it.

Got 2 of these to use in an RV I’m buying. Tried them out to make sure they work as it’s another month before I get the RV.Worked very well, cooked amazingly fast. The clean up was with a soapy sponge, rinse, wipe off with dish towel. DoneThe units also cooled off really fast, so nice safety feature if you have young curious fingers around.I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another if I need more.

Wow!! To be honest I didn’t realize I ordered an induction cooker I needed a cheap hot plate Lucky me I got this for $27. It’s worth the regular price glad it was limited deal otherwise I would never have known how nice this cooktop is. Just make sure you have pots and pans that are magnetic to make sure that you can cook on top of this wonderful cooker

This is a great little portable stove. My family and I love using it for hot pot and lots of other assorted dishes. It’s super easy to clean and heats up faster than other portable electric stovetops we’ve used before. For this price, it’s hard to beat this kind of quality.

This is a monster. I got it because of the surface area. I wanted something that would cook a small sauce pot. This does very well. Boils water with the usual conduction speed and flare.

Our kitchen remodel went longer than anticipated so we bought this while we wait for our induction range to be installed. It literally cooks everything in half the time. I like that it doesn’t stay hot and it has a timer that shuts it off in case you forget. We’ve already used that feature! We’re still learning how to control the temperature as the instructions were not as helpful as I would have liked. It is not intuitive for me but others may not struggle with the temp settings. I will give it to my mom once we don’t need it so she doesn’t have to use her gas stove which she has left on more than once.
