The microwave is clearly advertised as 700 Watt, but the manual says 1100 Watt power consumption and 700 Watt microwave power, then saying it consumes 12 amps, equally 1800 watts. Way higher than I wanted, and the advertising is deceptive. I also thought I was getting a new one, not a pre-owned. Haven’t tried it yet, hope it’s okay!

The microwave seems to work fine. I bought it to fit in a cut out space in my kitchen, so I didn’t have many options. The microwave slides forward when I open the door. But the biggest issue is that it will keep beeping if you don’t retrieve your item. I don’t mind an initial beep to signal the microwave is done, but if I happen leave a cup of coffee in there, it will beep at me at regular intervals all through a meeting. It’s really annoying! I called customer support and there’s no way to turn the beeping off.

I use all the preset buttons. Do a lot of reheating foods, and boiling water. And let’s not forget defrosting. Without defrost I would’ve had a great many more PeanutButter and jelly sandwiches as a major staple in my diet.

The price was very good. Used mostly for beverage and frozen food.

This microwave, which was well-rated by Consumer Reports for small microwaves, fits the space we had for it perfectly. It also draws less electricity (amps), which is important in our very old house. The one issue we had was confusion over using the most basic use: setting the time and hitting “start”. In our old microwave we had to push the “timer” button, then enter the time, then hit “start”. On this one you just enter the time you want and hit “start”. It took us a while and a careful re-reading of the instructions to figure this out. If you hit the “timer” button before entering the time and hitting “start” on this one, the TIME will start running, but the microwave won’t turn on. So it’s actually easier and simpler on this device, once you get it. LOL

I didnโt expect much for the money I kicked out for this MW. After a few months of use, I am very pleased!

Itโs a microwave, itโs got good cooking power, and itโs a nice size, not too big and not too small. One odd thing about it though, the clock has to be set for it to cook. It canโt just live on zeros and you hit one minute. It took a while to figure that out. We actually thought it was broken when we got it.
