   This little grinder, well not so little, packs quite the punch. That’s good sometimes but not all the time. Now if they would incorporate some speed settings to this it would be awesome. I don’t like grinding everything at once so to keep some freshness. That’s where it gets to be too powerful. I grind up enough to fill like a baby food jar 3/4 of the way full. Just using that amount you need to be careful how and how long u grid for or you will get dust. After the learning curve there I really like it. At first I didn’t like that you have to plug it in to work (hence the power) but now I don’t mind it so much I mean it’s never dead nor do I have to buy new batteries for it. It also came with a little brush for helping to collect all the “dust” from the grinder after your done grinding. Its been used a couple times a day everyday since i purchased it and theres been no issues. There are 2 lids to close up the grinder. The inner lid is the one that keeps everything in . Now its gotta seal around it so u dont push it straight down. You gotta be turning it while pressing down to make that seal. IF YOU DON’T then the outter lid WILL NOT GO ON RIGHT. This stops the safety mechanism from engaging and it will not start. I seen a video from another review that was having that problem. So for me it’s a good grinder and I’d buy it again.

   I tested it the moment it came in. The product is very easy to learn how to use and maintain— I didn’t have to look at the instruction sheet at all. I use a v60 to make pour-over coffee, so I don’t have a traditional coffee making machine or grinder. I only make servings for one or two people in the morning, so the amount of beans you can grind in one go is perfect for the water-bean ratio I’m using. I also like that I can easily control the grind particles. A pre-setting would be nice because having coffee that’s too coarse or too fine can cause problems in the extraction method (too coarse: sour, acidic— too fine: bitter, tasteless). If you’re using this to grind coffee beans like me, just keep an eye on the quality of grind through the viewing window at the top of the product. I think beginners can use this, but if you really want control (pre-settings) then there are other products. Coffee-making is a science so if you’re very particular about coffee, this can either work extremely well for you or just eye your batches carefully.As for herbs, I have yet to try this on the rosemary and other herbs I’m harvesting from my garden this year. I would really like to throw my peppers in there. But based on the coffee test, I would say it’s a perfect product for herb grinding. As a bonus, it fits well on any countertop. I got the wood style grinder and like how it looks. Product care is very easy. Just don’t submerge it in water, lol.

   Super easy to use! The only problem that I have is that the plug doesn’t stay in unless you are holding it. It’s not s big issue for me and I would still recommend.

   Holy smokes, this herb grinder is not only powerful, it also saves me a slew of time! I also wanted to add that you may want to start with literally one to two seconds, and then check your herbs. Don’t make the same mistake I did by grinding the herbs into oblivion, which is now a very fine powder, LoL. Just remember, there’s a lot of power to this little grinder so don’t underestimate it. I definitely recommend it, and wish I would’ve bought one sooner.

   This is a very nice grinder that is stainless steel lined so it does not retain flavors of spices or coffee if you use it for various purposes.    I wish that I had found this electric grinder years ago. It works perfectly. I no longer have to wrestle with hand held grinders. A great deal at this price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
