   My 10 year old son bought this with his Christmas money and was so excited when it arrived today!! He immediately unpackaged it and followed the recipe on the side of the box. We made an easy frosting for them and they were delicious! The donuts were slightly smaller than expected but the same as mini donuts you would buy at the grocery store. The whole family got involved in decorating them and we had a great time. Next time we will remember to add the sprinkles before the frosting dries ?. I am really impressed with how easily it cleans up. I predict many donut nights in our future!!

   First let me say as far as ease of use, quickness of baking, and quality of baking it’s a 5 star!! However I only got to use it once. Today I was getting it from my pantry where it was sitting on a little bin that is 18 inches high – as I grabbed it it slipped out of my hand went to the floor and completely shattered. I would’ve expected a lot more durability than this. It’s completely unusable now. It was great while it lasted snd I was planning on getting more than one use out of it – manufacturer should probably use a little better quality shell. Now I have to go break the news to my kids….?

   I bought this for a child that is just getting into the “hot” part of kitchen skills and she LOVED using it. I was very comfortable letting her use the unit with a little guidance. Once she got rolling, the little delicious treats just came coming because she drafted brother AND sister to trying it. The siblings are significantly older and they thought it was well made and considered one for themselves.

   The cooking part is good.The only and unfortunately much needed is a lock to keep it close when cooking. It doesn’t seal, leaving a big gap in the front and as soon as the donuts start raising it opens more leaving an uneven cooking/color. Needed to put a heavy item on top to get it to work.Other than that good.
