   PRO’S: It is LARGE. 5 – 7 lb roast with a few potatoes and carrots will fit just fine. A whole bird as well (chicken).It gets hot fast!It does it’s job well, maybe too well. Recipe for rump roast said to cook it for 37 minutes; roast was too well done, next time wills et it for 27 – 30 minutes. After meat rested in sauce / juices for 15 minutes the meat did soften up.Easy to use and understand.CON’S:#1 The nonstick inner pot. It will NOT last! The more it is used the FASTER the nonstick will begin to chip, be scratched, fade etc. Metal is NOT supposed to be used on any nonstick and yet it comes with a stainless steel rack. When sautéing to make gravy requires the scrapping of the bottom of pan / pot, this will damage the nonstick Crock Pot Express nonstick inner pot in a hurry.#2 There aren’t any real accessories for the 10 qt Crock Pot Express more so if trying to cook “healthy”. Personally I am NOT keen on silicone and again metal on nonstick NOT good bedfellows.My friend is an avid Instant Pot users, she said there is NO difference between her Instant Pot and my Crook Pot Express. I’d say GIVE CROCK POT a chance and hopefully Crock Pot will LISTEN and give us a stainless steel inner pot and start to make accessories for it?FTR: The 10 qt Instant Pot stainless steel inner pot is entirely too large for the Crock Pot (I tried). Eventually going to try an 8 qt Instant Pot inner pot to see if that will work.TRUST I tried to get a 10 qt Instant Pot, but non are available, none for sale anywhere online. I will BABY my Crock Pot until then or get a stainless steel for it.As always Amazon was over the top helpful in my hunt for a pressure cooker. Say what we will about Amazon (no one / nothing) is perfect, but Amazon has always went above and beyond to ensure I am satisfied with my purchases.UPDATE: Contacted Crock Pot. Was told that this unit does not have any 3rd party stainless steel inner pot as of yet, only for the 3 and 6 qt. Explained that nonstick and metal bad decision, that even wood and plastic would eventually wear nonstick; was told that should the nonstick ever wear to contact them and the inner nonstick would be replaced.

   Using it now for the first time. I needed a 10 quart for my homemade dog food. So much easier than the big brand. It held 6 pounds od turkey, root veggies, veggies, rice and more easily. I love that it is slow cooker too and browns!

   Many mulit-cookers are rather small. I think this is because the pressure cooker settings force the appliance to be well made, aka, safe.I like to use the pressure cooker to make soups and especially stock. I was in the market for a new pressure cooker, so when I noticed that this model was 10 quarts AND a multi-cooker, I decided to make the purchase.I have used the pressure cooker setting multiple times. It works great! The added features for opening the pressure valve are very helpful. The 10 quart base allows me to make chicken soup in half the time!I also used the slow cooker settings. Worked like a charm!Lastly, I used the timer options. The different settings are quite intuitive and allow for manual overrides for timing, temperature, etc.If you want a bigger multi-cooker, this is worth the money!

   I love the large size. Releases the steam easily without having contact with the steam. This is my second pressure cooker. Easy push button button display that takes out all the guess work. Easy release steam valve. Haven’t use the other features as I was looking for a pressure cooker.

   Used this item for thanksgiving! Literally cooked three different meats in this cooker in a fraction of the time!! All the meats came out tender and juicy. Well flavored.This cooker did not disappoint at all!! I would recommend especially for large quantities and dishes.
