I bought this one for my sister after having the same one for about a year now. We use it several times a week. It is very easy to use and clean. These pressure cookers are not just time savers, they do a better job of cooking meals than a slow cooker. I used to use my crockpot slow cooker a lot and was worried that the speed of the pressure cooker would translate to less quality but the opposite was surprisingly true. The pressure cooking allows the flavors to seep into the vegetables and meats. Pot roast in one hour in my pressure cooker is better than my 6 hour slow cook pot roast, the meat is just as tender, if not more tender, the house still smells delicious as you cook it and the flavor is better. I continue to be very thankful that I purchased one and now and paying it forward this year for Christmas.

I love this machine. But apparently there are 2 models of the 6-qt Express cooker. I had this one first, with the pressure release on the front of the lid, but I messed up and burned it. The whole thing, not just the inside – don’t ask – and I got a replacement which I thought was the same until I opened it. Not so-there is no pressure release on the front part of the lid, you have to reach around behind the handle with a big tongs or something, and push the whole pressure thingy to the other position. Easy to get burned when rapid releasing. I salvaged the lid from my burned one, but it doesn’t fit on the new one. And the control labels on the front are in different positions, not that it matters, but still. The machine works just fine and I love it, but I wish I had the other model back.

Online review said this product has problem with pressure release valve as you need to directly touch on the valve where steam comes out. This product actually improved there and now remotely you can release the pressure. When used 1st time, the pressure leaked from the inner gasket and steam comes out around the lid all over, though, I removed the gasket once and re-installed it then it started to work great!Set and leave it then it cooks your meal. So easy and works great!slow cooker function is also helpful. i used it to unthaw a block of meat, then switched the mode to pressure cooker and cooked it.Wow, now cooking is even more fun!

I took my time getting into the instant pressure cooker game due to how expensive these things are, and how not all of my friends are satisfied with the performance of their expensive instant pressure cookers. So when Amazon put this Crock Pot Express on Limited Time Deal, I took the plunge. I am very happy with it, and so is the rest of my family. For someone like me who has been so used to rice cookers and slow cookers, there was a learning curve. Watching a few videos on youtube helped immensely. Getting a couple of Crock Pot Express recipe books on Kindle helped, too. This cuts cooking time by up to 80%. Food comes out perfect each time. My teenage son used it to cook sweet mango sticky rice. That was his first time trying to make it, and came out delicious. I made fried rice in it using the saute function. That came out great too. This is definitely so much safer than my mom’s pressure cooker, which once exploded, and sent us seeking shelter under the kitchen table. It locks securely, and the easy release dial makes it so much easier to let out steam. It’s easy to clean as well. I love this so much I got the 4 qt. for my son to take to college with him.

Needed a new slow cooker and came across this on sale. I love cooking gadgets but don’t have the space for it so I had to weigh the pros and cons to see if this was worthy of space on my kitchen counter. When it first arrived, I did the water test and steam was leaking around the sides and it never came to pressure. So I removed the sealing ring and placed it back in, and also pressed the lid down on lock as mentioned in many website as the quick fix for this. It has worked fine since and I have made curries and chicken soup in it. Great little gadget. Only downside is that the nonstick is the lousy kind that gets scratched very very easily. I hope spare inner pots are easy to come by!

Good product, easy to use and makes cooking much faster, but the steam release button fails. I purchased two, one for me from Kohls and another for my daughter from Amazon. We used them frequently for about a year, but we both have faced the same problem: The steam release button on the lid has stopped working and steam cannot be released. In mine, the pressure valve also shot into the air. This is a hazard. We cannot use them anymore, and a new lid is costly. This must be a design defect. I have reached out to customer service but received no response. My review of the product was also not posted on their site. I guess they don’t want to make it right and don’t want people to know. Very disappointed, as we really liked the product.

Instructions are simple, it’s easy to use and clean. I use this several times weekly. Why pay more for a brand name? This does it all.

I got this for my sister and every time I see her she talks about how this changed her life. She’s the cooker in the family and she uses this pot all the time! Highly recommend.
