Given that state of the State with the Lmitations we have been given now, this is a nice unit. I looked forever for a Safe unit that was simple. This unit has programming functions that are cool, and I might use them some day, but typically we well just cook a roast for 4 to 8 hours on low or high. No big. Used it on Mother’s day and the pork roast came out great. PRO: The unit plug was not hot after 6 hours on high, which I find in most small appliances made in china. The ceramic pot itself was made well (lead fee?) CON: it has a button battery for the Menu programming feature, but I don’t care about that for myself. I gave only 4 stars because of this import country’s standards lack of product liability/quality control.

I have had it for a very short time and used it once, so this is based on very limited experience. My initial impressions: 1) The screen is hard to read unless I squat down with my head at screen level (everything looks like 8888888β¦) 2) The quality of the appliance is not what my previous Crockpot was for about the same price (not as sturdy). That said, it works like it should.

This is a good slow cooker, but the lid rattles as heat escapes and splatters on the counter. An improved lid design sure would be nice. A simple hole maybe.I have not found the scheduled meal feature to be very useful as of yet. I prefer a built in probe so meat doesnβt overcook and dry out.I would not buy this again but I am content with it.

Got this for a friend’s birthday and they love it. They cook everything in it, the food is always tender and delicious

My only complaint is the lid came with a few scratches. Shouldnβt have to worry about itβs integrity right out of the box. It works well though and very easy to use.

Learning how to use it
Keep looking up –
My old crock pot had 1 setting, high, no matter what setting I put it on. Love the digital as once cooking is done it goes to warm & I don’t have to worry about over cooking, if I’m not home or busy with something else. Made an elk roast with vegies…perfect, & lasagna which came out wonderfully. Husband happy, too.

I previously had a wifi crockpot that this replaced. The Wi-Fi one had connection issues when Iβd try to turn it remotely from work. With this device you just tell it when you want to have dinner ready and will cook the food accordingly. That feature is amazing to come home from work and have your food ready and waiting
