   This crockpot is great for making large batches. I had a 5qt crockpot from about the 90s or so that just took forever to cook anything over a few quarts.Pros:Large capacityHeats up quicklyGood priceCons:None major that I have noticedBe weary of the hot setting. If it isn’t filled to the brim the hot setting will torch food that is not stirred often. At the same time I’m impressed by how quickly it heats up. Just check on it here and there if it is set on high heat (which I would do with any slow cooker).

   Bought to replace one that was close to 20 years old. I hope this one last just as long. Love the brand and fond of the simple easy to use know. I have a smaller one with the fancy electronic panel but I never use it. This one works wonderful.
