This is a really cute little food processor. I bought it as a companion to my large 14 cup Cuisinart processor, and because it was so inexpensive at about $13 for the factory reconditioned model. I wanted to be able to chop a smaller amount of stuff like onions etc., without using and then cleaning the large processor. It has been a decent buy — not nearly as versatile (of course) as the large one, but it mostly does the job. The only complaint I have is that it sometimes leaves large chunks that you have to reprocess after scooping the properly processed stuff out. Also, it makes a high pitched noise and can give off a funny metal smell. I don’t know if that’s normal, but it hasn’t blown up yet! At about $13, it can’t be beat, but I don’t think I’d have bought it if it had cost more than $20.

Very well thought out mini food processor. It just fits a 15oz can of beans (for reference), but after processing there’s more room to add other items and does a great job. Also great for salsa making.I like it much better and does a better job than my hand blender (another leading brand) with its blending cup, but I love the hand blender’s blending arm. My regular size food processor (14 cup) came with an insertable bowl for smaller jobs, but I don’t think it is well designed since you soil the smaller cup area and also the regular cup area, thus there’s MORE to clean. For the Cuisinart, the blades remove from the stem not only for cleaning, but they can be reversed to coarsely chop. Perfect for prep of side items or for a small family/single person. Also easy to clean and feels like a quality item. Finally, I think one of the hottest features of this processor is how the lid is also designed to allow the user to pour oil to an emulsion (say, you’re making Caesar salad dressing) and the lid will dispense it to the liquid below a few drops at a time (to avoid emulsion separation). It definitely makes this step much easier.

I have been using this model for several years. After ten or more years the blade finally gave out so I bought a new one. It seems some users don’t understand the purpose of this device. This is a compact light duty food processor designed to do small jobs. I have a full size processor, too, but I probably use this one more than the larger one. I use it to chop small amounts of onions, garlic, nuts, to make bread crumbs and many other things. I just hope Cuisinart continues to make this model, as is, for many more years. I’m happy to recommend it.

I am extremely happy with the build quality.Note: I didn’t see any blemishes! This is a refurbished unit β that is why I mention the appearance, [unit is in like-new condition]. If you are looking for an itsy-bitsy food processor, and you don’t mind refurbished units, give this a try. After shopping various Auction sites & shops on the Web: pricewise, this is a bargain.

This mini food processor has a very powerful motor. I purchased it to make dry rub for meats and it works great. This product was refurbished and there were no imperfections. Great value!

So easy to use. I love to use this for onions and especially when I need chopped garlic. Only two speeds, but will chop whatever you need. The only issue I have is the locking of the lid when using it. Sometimes it wonβt lock in place so easily. But great product for the money

I love how small and simple it is. No extra settings or buttons to mess with. As long as you are paying attention, it is easy to remove the too from the base, then the blade will pop out automatically. It has turned everything I’ve put in it into great baby food for my 11 month old.
