I had reservations about buying this unit because of the venomous 1-star reviews. After using this unit for a few weeks I have to assume that there were either a large number of defective products sent out (quite unusual for Cuisinart), or that some people have unrealistic expectations of a toaster oven/air fryer.Disclaimer: I’ve always had toaster ovens as a kitchen accessory and have had to learn each one of their quirks. This one has fewer than many I’ve owned. That said, it cooks fast. Very fast. Where with my previous one you had to bump the temp about 25 degrees more than you thought needed and could walk away from it, this one cooks in much less than the time expected and you need to watch it carefully. That should change as we learn how it performs. It seems best to fade back a bit from the recommended times and temps in their manual and recipe book. This thing is powerful. My favorite dish so far is chicken wing drumettes. I’ve always cooked my famous buffalo wings in a peanut oil deep-fryer, then dip them in sauce and dry them for a bit in the oven. Set this at 400 on air-fry, cook for 10 minutes, flip them over and cook for 10 more and they honestly look like I just pulled them out of my fryer. My wife swears they are even better. Traitor!Garlic toast and English muffins seem to crisp up faster and retain inside moistness better than any toaster oven I’ve ever used. Frozen french fries and shrimp are a breeze. Tonight she did some fresh zucchini wedges that I was sure were going to be boring and they turned out awesome.Long story short, we love it so far and look forward to experimenting with it for years to come. We’ve had great luck with Cuisinart appliances over the years and in the few times we had problems with them, their customer service people have bent over backwards to help us and always treated us fairly.Love it and if it blew up tomorrow, I’d buy it again.

This is my first air fryer appliance, so I am learning. So far, itโs been a great little multi-use buy. I like that itโs also a toaster oven, so I can get rid of my toaster. I have cooked lots of veggies with the air fry feature with success. Salmon was also good. The main reason I chose this air fryer over the basket style is that I can actually see my food cooking and judge doneness easier than with a basket style air fryer.

I bake a lot. This oven heats a lot more than what the temperature is set to be. Took me a while to figure out how much lower I have to set it up to follow a recipe suggested temp. Burnt a couple of dishes and baked desserts at the beginning. I would add a button to cancel the remaining time, when a dish is done before the timer runs out completely. The size is good and I adjust the grills to convenience for deeper dishes like casseroles and cakes.Good overall.

My family loves our new Cuisinart oven/toaster/air fryer! We use the toaster feature a lot and it browns the toast evenly. And the cleanup is so much easier than our old Cuisinart toaster where youโd have to shake the toaster over the sink to try and dislodge the pieces of bread that got stuck in the bottom and continued to burn and smoke when you use it. The air fryer is much more convenient for the types of food my kids heat up: pizza slices, chicken tenders, leftover meals. Itโs so much easier on the rack than down in the basket of our other air fryer. It does get hot above the air fryer so you do need an open counter space to be able use it and it is large and heavy compared to other smaller units. Thatโs my only possible issue with it but we do have the space fortunately and are really enjoying using it!

We got rid of our toaster oven a decade ago because it did a lousy job on toast. But we missed heating up stuff like leftover pizza in it.This combination toaster oven / fryer is great. Leftover pizza is no longer rubbery and soggy. We can do French fries at home, and we can sort of do toast. And, just like a toaster oven, it does a mediocre job on toast. It does the toast. It just takes twice as long and comes out more thoroughly cooked, rather than toasted on the outside. We like the ‘old school’ mechanical controls. It takes a little while to get used to, but many electronic settings on ovens are more complicated to figure out and the electronics are the most likely thing to fail. Our other gripes are:*The pointers on the knobs are hard to see. I highlighted them with a red Sharpie and they are much easier to see.*The settings are a little confusing. We kept turning on the toast timer and getting nothing. A second knob needs to be also set to Toast. We have gotten used to that.*The pan gets stained and cannot be cleaned.*We are constantly moving two trays out and leaving them on the countertop. We are adjusting to that too.We do recommend this.

Really good product that does the job. My girlfriend loves it!

Sears meats well at high temperatures. With trial and error, we slowly figure out the optimal settings to use. Good for reheating pastries without making them soft. The drip pan stains easily. Cleaning isn’t that easy with the heating elements and slide grooves in place, but easier than cleaning an oven. Overall, very handy. We have enjoyed it so far.

I love this Air Fryer! It is so easy to use and available functions are great. The size is perfect for cooking for our family of 5. The basket is great and allows for crispness on top and bottom of food. I also love the removable bottom tray which makes cleaning it a breeze. This is my 3rd air fryer and by far my favorite!
