I don’t have a stove in my house so I bought this. It’s easy to store in places after it cools. The small burner is hotter than the big one and the big one takes forever to warm up and boil water. It’s easy to clean for the most part but cleaning the actual burners when stuff gets in the rings it’s kinda hard. The temp controls are loose feeling but it came like that. I do like the control on the back that says off or on that’s kinda nice to have. Over all I use this a lot and I’ve cooked so many different things on it. Handier than having an actual stove stop and oven because it stores so easy away.

I had another like this that stopped working, this is replacement. I cook on top of my rollator ( a walker w/ seat) and I got a large plastic cutting board from Amazon to put on seat, then I put that webbed vinyl shelf liner you can buy cheap( it’s to prevent the unit from slipping on the plastic Put the hotplate on it, and go to town! I have done big pots of chili, fried foods, omelette, burgers, chicken cacciatore, you name it! It is wonderful. Note: it only takes a 3 prong( polarized) outlet ..the food tends to cook on to the outer metal surface near the heat when you have a spill and it is NOT easy to clean. I’m sure I can find an easier way to get it off, but I got the red, and since it’s painted it’s at more risk of scratching off

We purchased these to use while we were remodeling our kitchen. They worked great and came in very handy. The temperature settings were a little inconsistent. Once they heated to a high saute temperature, they did not decrease to a lower setting quickly. They do get very hot and need to be placed on a silicone protector when in use.

I’ve never logged into Amazon just to write a review…. until now. I’m gutting and remodeling and enlarging my kitchen, but still trying to cook in my laundry room b/c I don’t like fast food or take out. (week 3 and have cooked every evening).Anyway, I debated about getting a hot plate mostly because I HATE cooking on an electric surface. I figured I could get by with my crock pot, my microwave, my Instant Pot, my Traeger and Air Fryer. But sometimes you just need a burner surface.This CUSIMAX hotplate is FANTASTIC. It gets as HOT as I need it to get and just as importantly, it does a true simmer. It doesn’t take forever to heat up or cool down and my food (homemade pasta sauce and meatballs last night) came out PERFECTLY. It cooked in the same amount of time it would take on a gas range, and it didn’t scorch. I love everything about it including the emerald green color.

Temperature control and use is very easy with this burner, we don’t have a stove currently so this does a wonderful job to cook anything that’s needed. In fact, it almost feels like buying a whole stove would be unnecessary! It heats up quickly and is easy to clean, just be sure to let it cool off before you touch or clean it as it remains hot for quite a while.

This single burner has been used with a hotpot wok and a stove-top moka pot. Powerful enough for both. To protect the table surface, I always place a wooden board under the hot plat while heating.
