First, the product works as advertised. I’ve timed it out and it takes about 3.5 minutes from start to finish. The device appears to be well made and the process is simple. My qualm is with how messy the process is. Initially, I thought I would make smaller loads of popcorn (since I’m on a diet – which is why I got the device in the first place). However, if you only put a tablespoon or so of popcorn in the device, the kernels all fly out of the device without popping. (And I do mean ALL. And they fly everywhichwhere). After some experimentation, I realized I had to put in about 2-3 tablespoons of kernels. For some reason, this seems to weigh the kernels down and they do not fly out of the machine unpopped.Even so, when the device successfully pops all the kernels it’s still pretty messy. A few kernels fly out and they can end up anywhere. And the popcorn occasionally decides to “leave the building” so to speak. This may be true of all air poppers, I don’t know. I’ve taken to putting the (large) bowl in the sink so that any flying popcorn is easy — well, easier — to corral. I just wanted to give you all a heads up. It most definitely works — but it’s not pretty.

This is a great popcorn machine. One thing I donβt agree with is βNo oil requiredβ tried to make first three batches with no oil and un popped kernels flew out until there was one lonely kernel jumping around.Tried the fourth batch with a tiny bit of oil and the results were as expected. All but 10 ish kernels popped. A drizzle of butter and pinch of salt and the entire family was happy.Be warned, it heats up very quickly.

I wish they redesigned the section where the popcorn comes out of. Always have popcorn flying all over the play if you donβt have a huge bowl to catch it.

makes great popcorn. easy to use and clean. smells a bit like plastic at first but faded quick. Unit does get very hot. Not for use around small children.

Very simple to set up and use. Tried to use 1/4 cup of kernels but more flew out of the spout unpopped than actually popped. Worked much better with 1/2 cup of kernels. The maker gets very warm after use and yields fully popped but not burnt popcorn. Wish the angle of the popcorn coming out was better but as long as the maker is a bit higher than the bowel and you can guide the strays with your hands, it works well.

My daughter can pop the popcorn, easy to operate, but little hassle to clean, but itβs ok,95% kernel pops only 4-5% remains. But I am happy with that.
