This little donut maker is wonderful! I’ve used it several times now and the donuts turn out perfect every time. Something that should be noted though is that you don’t need to cook them as long as it says, if you do they’ll be very dry and dark. I cook them for about 2-3 minutes total. And don’t bother flipping them over, it’s just not needed. If you heat the appliance like you’re supposed to the top will be plenty hot to cook the top of the donuts. Here’s a tip for the cider donuts: don’t bother with the task of reducing cider on the stovetop. Buy a can of frozen apple juice concentrate, thaw it out and use it in place of the reduced cider, the flavor is incredible. Those are our favorite. The recipe for the cider donuts has a typo, I’m sure most can figure it out but in case you’re not sure it’s 1/4 cup yogurt. I love this product so much I’ll be purchasing a few to give as Christmas gifts.

I got this machine and made funfetti and classic donuts. The batter was slightly thick which made it slightly hard to put it in the machine. The donuts turned out well, but baked donuts will never compare to fried donuts. The recipes make tasty donuts, and the toppings turned out well. The instructions were easy to follow, and they baked quickly. I found that the middle cooked fasted and the edges cooked slowest. So I put the batter in the middle mold last. Also, keep young kids away from this as the whole thing gets extremely hot. This machine is easy to use but not super easy to clean. A cute machine. I would recommend this machine for quick and easy home made donuts

I enjoyed using this product. I didn’t have to worry about the batter. I used a Simple Mills muffin/cake mix, which uses almond flour and other natural ingredients. It had a bit of a downside, the donuts came out softer but still tasted great. I forgot to spray oil on the first set but it worked anyways. I don’t recommend forgetting the spray. The extra oil that ends up in the spaces in between, can be dabbed off with a folded napkin between reloads. The trick is not to overfill the wells. With this advice followed, I did not have any mishaps except self made ones due to uneven loading, I had some lumpy/lopsided and some holes from the skewer picks. If you have a mini spatula that helps get them out without the added piercings. All in all, this is a happy maker machine. 😀

I love this little mini donut maker! I made cider donuts in it for our church coffee hour and everyone loved them. I took the advice of others and used a plastic baggie to fill the molds and it worked out great.

First of all – pancake mix would not work or even taste good.Sec thing is I find that the brownie mix WORKS BEST!The vanilla cake mix didn’t work as good but it worked … I’m giving 4 stars because of the temp control. It gets hot on a sec and you have to be on watch!Overall it keeps me and my kids busy and saves us money on Dunkin lolEnjoy!

This donut marker is super easy to use and makes the donuts fast! Recipes are great, however, I did need to add a lot more liquid due to living at an altitude of over 6700 (which is not unusual) making sure the batter has the consistency of cake batter. Also, I did not cook it as long.
