So I am in love with this little mixer! She is a little weak for a full, 2 loaf, bread recipe, I had to help it spin at first, but technically I over loaded her. In the end, she did beautifully and I made my first batch of mixer aided bread ever! It turned out gorgeous and delicious. Id suggest not making a full batch at once, split it in half, and she will work great! Fantastic for the low price.

The mixer is very nice looking and compact. It is a learning curve on where to have the bowl when mixing. I’ve only used it once so far. By this I mean where the plate the bowl sits on. I found that more to it’s one side seems to be able to incorporate all of the batter a bit easier than just in the middle. I think it would be nice if they could have made a paddle or a whisk attachment for it. But I realized when I purchased it that it was a basic mixer with a stand. The bonus is you don’t have to hold the mixer while trying to do other things.

Only bake for the holidays so this is perfect. It doesnโt pay to get the big kitchen aid stand mixer for the little baking I do besides I donโt have the counter space for such an item. This does the trick and is easy to store for the other eleven months of the year

I bought the aqua color Dash Stand Mixer and it was delivered 11-12-2022. Upon opening the box, the mixer was well packaged. Honestly, this looks and feels like it should go in a child’s toy kitchen. It’s plastic.I thought oh brother, did I waste my money or what…..but I decided to give it a go. I bought this to use instead of using my handheld blender. I recently started making my own butter from heavy cream and itneeds to mix for around 10-12 minutes or so before it turns. So I washed everything well and went to work. The mixing bowl is nice and a fair size. It anchors onto the platform by lining up the guides and turning the bowl clockwise. You can’t feel it lock into place, or at least I can’t, so I tested it to make sure it was locked in place. The mixer also has little suction cup do-dadsto hold it onto the counter. Plugged it in and let ‘er rip. It’s pretty noisy. Since I started with heavy cream I used the beaters, not the dough hooks. The speeds are marked 1-2-3-4-5-6, That’s it. Not whip, blend, beat, cream, mix, etc. So you kinda have to guess. In the instruction booklet it says you should not run the mixer on a high speed for more than 10 minutes because you might overheat the motor. I though, oh great, I need to use a high speed to get the heavy cream to turn; but, I started out on a lower speed and worked up to setting 4. I noticed someone said their bowl doesn’t turn by itself. Well folks, if you’re beating eggs or something light, ofcourse it’s not going to turn by itself! Once the heavy cream started to thicken up, that bowl went around on its own with no help from me. There’s also a little gadget sticking out the front so you can adjust the bowl for the beaters to stay more centered, or off to the side. Anyway, after about 12 minutes, the heavy cream turned into butter and the motor did just fine. I think one needs to proceed with caution about just what to mix with this appliance; I read someone makes cheesecake. It’s probably ok for that, muffins, cake batter, etc., thing that you would make with a hand blender. As for an actual dough, I won’t do it. Light items only for this lovely colored plastic mixer made in China. Bought the extra warranty too just in case.
