I love the size of this Dash air fryer! I wanted an air fryer that I could put away because I don’t have a lot of counter space. It fits perfectly in my small pantry cabinet. It works great for me when I want to cook something quick or don’t want to use my oven. The controls are easy to use. I would recommend placing it on something when cooking to protect your countertops. Not saying you have to, but I have heard the heat from air fryers can discolor some countertops so I don’t risk it. (I place mine on a glass cutting board). I also purchased parchment paper basket inserts which helps with easy clean up too. Highly recommended.

Dash has become my go to small kitchen appliance company and their Tasti-Crisp Digital Air Fryer does not disappoint! I am surprised how easy it is to set for cooking. Clean up is easy for me as I use disposable food safe parchment paper basket liners. I read some buyers were having troubles cleaning the “grill/baking sheet” that sits in the bottom of the basket, so parchment papers save me from that trouble. It doesn’t heat up my apt like the oven did. The air fryer is cool to touch removing the basket to turn food half way through cooking time. But it does get hot on the backside. The small vent in the back must not be against anything when in use. This is to release heat and have air flow to prevent fire. I am very happy with my Dash Air Fryer and would highly recommend to anyone with minimal kitchen counter space.

This is my first air fryer, and I absolutely love it! It makes cooking everything (meat, veggies, frozen or raw) so easy. I season my food plop it in and 5 -20 minutes later it is done. No mess no fuss.

Was initially concerned about capacity. For two people it’s great. No cooking restrictions. Cooked a chicken breast with no issues. Great product.

Since it’s just the 3 of us, it’s the perfect size, plus I love the color!

I love the sleek design of this machine; and I bought it in a bright red color that I also love. But it’s So. Hard. To. Use.The thing defaults to a setting of 400° and 20 minutes. To change it, you have to first press the button for either time or temp; then repeatedly press the little arrows to adjust it. And then of course repeat the steps for the other setting. Maybe there’s something about the ergonomics – I’m pretty tall and the panel with the buttons is at a slight angle. But whatever, these little buttons are just reallllllllly frustrating to me.Plus, after all that, you have to hit the Start button. No biggee – it’s just a single button – but there’s no clear “I’m on now!” message. I routinely think that I didn’t actually hit the Start button so I press it again – which cancels all my settings and I have to start all over again!! ARRRGGGHHHHHH!But the final thing is that I bought this machine at the same time as a new multi-function countertop oven, aka a toaster oven. My old one had a convection setting too; but it didn’t seem to produce results that I would have expected from an air fryer. This one though – wooo-eeee, it really does! I can’t tell you which exact one I bought or Amazon will block this review; but Consumer Reports said it performed better than all others it tested. And I’d agree, it’s great!I have until January to return this little air fryer so I might continue doing some side by side tests; or I might just take back my counter space now and be done with it.
