If you do what they say and microwave your corn for 6 minutes then let it sit 5 minutes more then you are eating mush and might as well buy canned cream corn! I do 3 minutes in the microwave(and I have a small low power one) and pop the top as soon as I take it out. The corn is crisp and delicious! Once you pop the top you can add butter and seasoning if you like then roll the ear around in the tray before you plate it in a few minutes. ( if you don’t pop the top the corn keeps steaming until the water cools off)
