I was anxious to try toe recipe accompanying the donut/bagel pan. The donuts were actually easy to make, bake and remove from the pan. I wish the baker would have come with more recipes, or at least one bagel recipe. I liked the fact that the donuts were not large and therefore controls the portions. I made half the recipe, which made more than 6 donuts, but as they baked rather quickly, I was able to re-spray and fill the pan again. I dusted the donuts with powdered sugar and hubby said he liked them. Of course, they are not the same as fried, but a little healthier. I would compare them to a coffee cake texture. I will more than likely make again, and hope to find more recipes.

It makes really small donuts, recipe makes too much batter but did save it and made it again the next day and it was just as good as the first batch the day before. Also, the recipe can be a little tasteless if you don’t put in the spices. It’s a good deal for a morning you want something sweet but don’t want to go out to get bakery. Be sure to spray pan with baking spray with flour.

I didn’t really realize this was a mini donut pan. But it works well for us. We got it to make donuts for our family and especially our toddler. The donuts came right out of the pan! We flipped it over and put batter in the donut hole wells to make donut holes, because “Life without Jesus is like a donut, cause there’s a hole in the middle of your heart.” I was very concerned about chemicals and found that this pan wasn’t loaded with them.

Everything looks great and I have not cooked in it yet but I thought this was a regular donut pan. When I received the recipe book for “mini” donuts, that’s when I realize this was not a pan to make regular size donuts. I may have failed to pay attention to the measurements but if something is a “mini” it is usually always advertised as a “mini”.
