So, disclaimer: I have only done microwave bag popcorn for decades. I have mastered the art of making popcorn. I can put the bag in and take it out until they are done to perfection. So idk if this is some sort of downside to this different โmethodโ, but damn what a waste! For the bags to be perfect, my microwave needs 1:15 minutes but I set it at 3 just in case.So Iโve used this 4 times already:The first time (two full measures) a handful got burned: I put them on for 3 mins and stopped it until it had 30 secs left! The second time (two full measures), I didnโt burn any and they were popped to perfection, yay! I stopped it when it had 45 seconds left, howeverโฆ about half a measure were left undone. The third time (two full measures). I left it until there was 40 seconds left and I burnt about 3 popcorn, the rest were done to perfection and about 1/3 of a measurement was left undone.I noticed that they started burning because they really donโt fit in the popper. The fourth time, I tried with 1 1/2 measures and left it until there was about a minute left. They were done to perfection. except about 20 corns werenโt done.I got tired of wasting corns, so decided to rest run those undone ones in a second round and they popped, so thatโs what Iโm gonna do from now on!Anyways, for the rest of the review: the taste is great! Better than the bag ones (I use Orville oil that tastes like butter and a bit of salt). And, I have only cleaned it by hand and itโs easy to do so, but I donโt mix the oil or the salt in the popper.

This cute little glass pot in the blue silicone sleeve with a matching handle and lid is the perfect size for me. Before it arrived I went and got some JT white kernel popcorn from the store and as soon as it came I made some. All but 3 or 4 kernels popped and it was wonderful. Since then I have used the same 2 tablespoons of corn (to fill line on the lid) used butter to melt while popping and just good old air frying.About the 5th batch it started burning and more kernels didn’t pop. I followed the above procedure and used their recommended 2 and a half minute cook time. I have a 1000 watt microwave and cannot figure out what the problem is. This has happened to me several times but I am not ready to give up on this pot just yet. I find it hard to believe it is the pot but equally as hard to believe it is the microwave which is less than a year old.I would say to get it and give it a try. When it worked it really worked well and if I still have a problem I will go so far as to order it again. Examinations have not provided any clues. The pot is easy to clean and the lid that goes on it is loose but stays in its area.

After hearing from multiple sources that microwave popcorn in premade bags isnโt the healthiest, I decided to try this popper. I really like it! Itโs easy to use โ just pour in your popcorn โ just enough to cover the bottom will almost fill the popper when itโs done. In my microwave, it takes 3.5 to 4 minutes to pop, and that means all but a few kernels. The lid has a depression with holes in it where you can add butter, which will melt onto the popcorn as it pops. A great idea! Then just pour it into a bowl โ the glass popper is too hot to eat from. All in all, this is a great way to make popcorn.

So based on the picture, I seriously thought this was going to be much larger haha! It’s tiny but it works. The amount of popcorn kernels means you get a small amount of final product… maybe 1.5-2 cups.I tried a new popcorn so I’ll cook on stove top to compare. The finished popcorn seemed slightly hard… almost crunchy. I wonder if it’s because it’s popped without oil?If so, the stove top won’t be an identical comparison. But I’ll see.I drizzled oil on once popped but that means some have much more oil than others. It’s evenly distributed when you add oil to the kernels in the beginning. Also, salt and flavorings won’t stick to the popcorn until after oil is added so that didn’t make me love it.But it’ll do as a quick substitute.

I purchased this for my husband last Xmas, and we have both used it CONSTANTLY to make popcorn as a snack – healthy or otherwise. It has a built in measurement feature for kernels, and the lid does a fantastic job of distributing the melting butter as it pops. Easy to toss in seasonings too, just give a quick swirl to coat! We toss it in the dishwasher to clean, and after a year of use (2-3x weekly) it’s holding up without issue. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys popcorn in your life!

This is great for people on a budget. I would advise to heat it up un the microwave before adding the corn. I don’t put the butter on the top as it burns the kernels already popped. My second batch comes out fluffer with an all ready hot container

My new favorite kitchen item! I love popcorn. We had been eating bagged microwave popcorn before buying this, but this has upped our snack game! I love that I can pop the amount I want (in my opinion, a mini bag of microwave popcorn isn’t enough, but a full bag is too much), and I can flavor it to my liking. It’s easy to use and clean. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

We bought one last summer of the smaller size and use it all the time. It’s perfect for 2 people. It’s so easy to use and clean, much better then our twirly pop popper. We have not had a bad batch of popcorn yet no matter the type of popcorn. This larger one I ordered for my brother and his wife.
