I like that it is easy to use and makes fine shredded cabbage, thin sliced cucumbers, etc. but I don’t like the fact that you have to hold the button down all the time for it to work; ie.. only pulse is possible. This makes it very tiring.

It’s a great purchase when you are shredding, cutting, grating all you veggies and cheeses. Definitely a must have.

The “feed” portion is a bit narrow and tends to plug up at the point at which it hits the blades. The plastic has already cracked on a couple of the attachments. We are not hard on our appliances, this one is just not great quality. I recommend you keep shopping.

Shredding cheese manually has become difficult for me. This device is fantastic and saved my hands and my Thanksgiving. I shredded 3 pounds of cheese in less than 5 minutes! I also used it to thinly slice onions. I tried to use it for potatoes but you have to quarter a potato to get it to fit & they come out too small. Works very well, good quality and worth every penny.

It is difficult for me to grate foods on a box grater, so several years ago I purchased a drum grater. It worked so well for me that I decided to upgrade to this electric one. I am so happy I did.! This Thanksgiving we used it several times, I grated: cheese, carrots, and brussel sprouts. Sliced onions and cucumbers. Quick wash in sink between foods and a final wash in the dishwasher cleaned everything. Saves me money by purchasing cheese in bricks and grating it on the drum grater, tastes better too. So far I am very happy with this product!
