It works as it supposed to work. More room than I previously thought, but I personally could use more. I made several types of dry fruit with mine and jerky. The reason why it does not earn 5 stars is because the trays are thin. Be very careful washing and applying pressure if drying or laying a dish on top while drying. I was very careful and still I broke a couple of couple of spots. I certainly do not see the trays lasting too long without needing a replacement. I recommend if you want something low budget but does the job. Thicken those trays and we have a winner.

Works well. Made amazing apple chips in 8 hours or so. Able to put approximately 1 spiral cut apple per tray. Just wish it had a digital temperature display instead of the dial. Feel like I just can’t set it at the right temperature but not sure it would make much difference in drying time if it was a few degrees off.

I bought the food dehumidifier to make Jerky and to make dehumidified fruit it works pretty well. Itโs a bit hard to clean though a lot of the fruits you put in there gets stuck on the bottom and doesnโt come out. Cleanly doesnโt really work well and berries, but everything else seems to be fine at.

The dehydrator arrived early if I remember correctly. Everything worked the way it should. Only issue I had was no directions. The company doesn’t include to cut paper waste. Which is understandable, so they directs you to a online set of directions. Do the issue isn’t one to consider to be a make or break / bad one.

I was amazed at how fast this Elite Gourmet EFD319 Food Dehydrator dried my fruits and vegetables. I loaded up three trays, and my fruit was completely dry within four hours when using the highest temperature setting. It’s large, quiet, and easy to operate. I highly recommend it.

We bought a bag of small apples we thought we wanted, but they went uneaten for the most part. We talked about drying slices of those apples and that is what led us to purchase that drying. I worked like a charm. It is suggested that if do this in your kitchen do start the fan over the stove to draw out all the moisture that will be coming from the dehydrator. This is not a commercial drier, it is for home use for drying fruits, making Jerky and the like. I am very please with how the unit operated and the ease of washing the trays when every thing was done.
