Overall, I’m very happy with this egg cooker. It is faster than using the pot and the eggs are easier to peel afterward. I use it for soft, medium, and hard boiled eggs. Although I never pierced my eggs before, I strongly recommend using the provided piercer as it seems to help prevent breakage while cooking. I have not tried either the poached or omelet trays because their portions are too small for a family. They may work fine for a single person though.The issue is that the water fill levels and the cooking times are only the most basic guidelines and cannot he relied upon. I strongly recommend using much more water than the line and then timing carefully. You will need to experiment with the variables of how many eggs and what size they are. Larger eggs will take longer. In general, I’d say that the times for 4-7 eggs in the book are too much for soft and medium eggs. Try adding a minute per every two egg instead. Also be sure to ice bath them to stop cooking. Once you get a feel for the device it works fine, but do not expect to just be able to trust to their times and water levels.

Wow,this is the MOST amazing little kitchen gadget I have ever used !!! I LOVE boiled eggs and this is MAGIC when it comes to ease and speed in making them. If you are someone who eats lots of boiled eggs, this is a MUST HAVE in your kitchen! It saves time and water! I can’t believe how easy this is. I got it today and have used it twice already! Ok. I wasn’t expecting much. And it doesn’t seem like super sturdy construction but it works really well and so far has stood up to daily use. Pretty much perfect eggs in about 8 minutes or less, depending on what type of eggs you are hungry for. Absolutely recommend.

I am a teacher and depend on hard boiled eggs at school for lunch. My school secretary recommended this and I immediately purchased one for myself based on her recommendation. It is fast and so easy to use. It’s super cute. I use the hard boiled function even though I like my hard boiled eggs a bit soft. I tried the medium and the eggs were hard to peel and the yolk was a little too soft even for me. I use the hard boiled function and leave my eggs in past the timer for another couple minutes which is perfect for me. The yolk is still bright yellow but the eggs are easy to peel. I use this every day at school.

This egg cooker makes perfectly cooked hard boiled eggs. The shells come off easily without tearing apart the egg. I am ordering a 2nd egg cooker as a back up so I have one for many years to come. I would highly recommend this cooker

I use it to hard boil eggs and it’s super easy to use. I like them a little softer on the inside so I set my times for 7 min then turn it off. I wait about 5 minutes or so and they’re perfect!

I actually already had a microwave egg cooker. But I love this one so much better. And thank you for adding the puncture tool to the bottom of the measuring cup. Don’t have that on the old one and it does make a difference. Love that you load it, plug it in. And when done it beeps letting you know. Being able to cook 7 eggs instead of 4 really helps also. Makes perfect delicious fresh hard boiled eggs. Very easy to use & clean. Everything stores inside and I love that feature to. Will definitely recommend. Thank you.

Great egg cooker just don’t expect much, it does cook the eggs but the time varies compare to the cup outline they give you. You would have to experiment by yourself.
