First off, this is a solid unit. It’s not cheap feeling or flimsy plastic, but sturdy and strong. The motor and blades are powerful, no issues blending frozen strawberries, and I love that it has 12 speed settings plus a turbo option. It makes a little noise, but nothing too loud or unpleasant. Played around with the attachments out of the box, it’s pretty easy to click the different pieces together to switch functions. And there sure are a lot of functions! :O Comes with a handy manual that has a lot of info on how to use, clean, and take care of the device. Make sure you don’t submerge the body or the “hub” parts under water (all talked about in the manual), luckily these pieces are pretty simple to just wipe clean without much effort. The main reason I got this was to make smoothies and milkshakes, so I tested this out almost immediately by making a strawberry banana smoothie in the included mixing cup. It easily pulsed through my ingredients (including some frozen strawberries) with gentle up and down immersion action, mmmm, delicious! I’m going to save a lot of money on smoothies. The whisk and frother are really nice quality for baking and creating latte foam, and I can’t wait to use the chopper to help grind meats with spices. There are so many uses to this thing, I can even make my own baby food! It was really easy to go to the site and enter my information to get the warranty, I didn’t have any problems whatsoever. I have a feeling I’ll be using this in my kitchen for years and years to come 4865

I bought this for time saving at work. I mainly use it to blend 2 flats of eggs at once for prescrambled. Use the lower setting, the eggs hold better rather than the high setting which makes the consistency too liquid. I also use it for blending the gravy base and brotha for soup and stress. To clean, simply turn the lower half, it pops right off. I “swoosh” it back and forth rapidly in hot soapy sink then the rinse sink. Been using it daily, multiple xs and no sign of it slowing down. Blades are very sharp. I would recommend and buy again if needed.

I was in a hurry to buy one of these as we had an immediate dental problem in the family that required mush. . . plus Thanksgiving gravy was coming. This was 500 watt for $20 and I couldn’t resist. I have had the big name $30 250 watt job with stainless steel removable stem and eventually sleeve bearings failed and it wouldn’t spin fast enough anymore, so I should know better than to go for just more power. I can feel that the 500 watt motor is heavier than a 250 watt model. It also has a really light weight stem and rod that the blade is mounted on and actually seems to be engineered to handle the power by being lightweight. The blade is somewhat small but it spins faster with more umpf. Smaller, lighter means less resistance, but it does the job. It’s new. It works good. Only time will tell how it lasts. Don’t give it any impossible tasks. All the brands have cheap sleeve bearings that are designed to fail. Looking heavier and sturdier doesn’t necessarily guarantee longer lastingness. I can feel that the 500 watt motor is heavier than a 250 watt model. The other plus on this model is how the removable blade stem twists on and off. Genius. Works good. That part won’t break too easy, at least.

I’ve been making so many soups since I got this blender! A bargain! Takes a bit to fully blend out chunks in dishes like tomato soup, but that’s fine. For the price, you can’t beat this.

I would order this again, but might like a few more optional stirrer heads.

Tried for the first time to purรฉe but nut squash soup with red lentils. Nice and good for the price. The plug-in came crooked and I was able to fix and straightened it. Hope for no issues with it.
