There was a little problem with my order which you can review below, but the company reached out and sent me a new coffee maker.This coffee maker is exactly what I wanted and hoped for.It is super easy to use and has options for a single cup with a K cup or with ground coffee in an adapter that slip sin where the K cup would sit. Just load with coffee of choice and push the cup button for K cup or the other button if using loose coffee.Fill cup with water and pour in the back. You know you have the right amount, because you use the cup to measure how much you are going to have. I leave a little head room to add half and half.I drink coffee maybe once per month, so this is just what I wanted. Easy. Makes good coffee and fast.The small footprint is why I selected this coffee maker, and that is wonderful. My old coffee maker took up a lot of room on the counter. This one is short enough to slide under the upper counter and is narrow. Really love that.I am going five stars, because this was just what I was looking for. If you have a larger family or drink more coffee, then maybe you need a bigger machine, but my world is a one cup thing now and thankfully this coffee maker works for that.Apparently someone packed a used model by accident the first go round, but the company reached out to me and the clean machine was perfect. Mistakes happen. I am quite happy with the coffee maker and the company._________________________________________I ordered this coffee maker before the holidays, since some members of my family like to drink coffee (and I thought I might have a cup now and again). It arrived fine (about 15 minutes ago), and it was super easy to set up and turn on.Out of the box, I ran the coffee maker with clean water and the little insert for coffee grounds (versus you can use the pods). This should be a clean run (just water), but WTH? The water comes out dirty and floating with something – maybe coffee pieces or looks more like tea. I took photos after pouring the mess from the coffee cup into the clear measuring cup.Who packs up a new box with a used coffee maker and mails it to you? That is nasty. Even if they were selling used items, you would think they would clean the coffee maker and the insert before selling it.

Was looking for a single serve for my mom and came across this machine that has everything included plus the ability to make a 14oz cup of coffee. There are some people who gave less than positive reviews, but if you clean it and run it about 20 times before you start using it, you will have good results. Some things to note are it takes a few minutes for the machine to start making coffee as it has a water heating cycle. Tip 1. Use hot water instead of cold when adding to machine. It heats for the same amount of time regardless, so adding hot water helps make a good brew. I like the fact there is a separate compartment to add water, whereas other machines fill next to the coffee basket. My biggest issue is that k cups are a bit loose in the holder and potentially can pierced more to the side and spill grounds into your cup as it brews. The other is the loose ground basket doesn’t seem to keep the water long enough to get the full flavor it could if it was a closed style like a universal basket you can by for the K machines. All in all this is a great machine that dosen’t take up any room on the counter. Definitely give this machine a chance if you want a single serve that works as well as the K machines without paying for a name.

I like that this brewer is easy to use and I get a great cup of coffee. If you like your coffee stronger use less water or use the attachment for ground coffee. This brewer is self cleaning and you can use one part vinegar and two parts water or buy a solution to use. Simply pour your cleaning descaling solution into the reservoir and then press both switches at the same time on right side of brewer near the bottom and the brewer will self clean. Ir recommends to clean every two or three months. I’ve had two hundred dollar brewers that connect to Wi-Fi and all I got was headaches and a brewer that died in less than a year. This brewer is easy to use and I love it. Doesn’t take up a lot of room. I highly recommend it! I couldn’t be more pleased and the price is affordable!
