I like that there are three levels, that way we can cook different items the fastest cooking items on top, then the items that need longer cooking time on the lowest level. My teenagers love to cook their food. And it is very easy to clean.

So, for the last 10 or so years, I have had two Oster Food steamers that I loved for the most part. So, the one I purchased in 2015 on Amazon is biting the bullet with plastic cracking etc. So, I went looking to buy a new one, but alas, they have been discontinued and those that are for sale are five times or more the price I paid for it back in 2015. I say all this because I had to find a new Brand. This particular one is similar in function to my Oster; its footprint is a smaller, but the plastic steamer bowls are a good size, and they are not as brittle as the Oster so I don’t see them cracking like the Oster did. Overall, I am good with this steamer.

Works very well it’s done a great job for us so far, one thing we noticed about it is the base itself has no handles so picking it up to move around means grabbing it from the bottom otherwise perfect.

We owned the “original” until it finally gave up. The new one is a slightly larger clone. I have no complaints and like the larger size. The heat is slightly lower so 20 minutes turns into 30 minutes for some vegetables.
