I have a mediocre cook. I donβt really enjoy cooking but do it out of necessity. My mother truly enjoys cooking and has always had an expensive food processor. I, personally, have never wanted to invest that much money into a an appliance that I would only use occasionally. I have found myself several times over the last few years wishing that I did have a food processor. I decided this year was the time to finally break down and purchase one. This food processor is the perfect size and price point for what I want to use it for. It is neither a large unit that takes up an entire shelf in my cupboards. Nor is it so small that I have to empty it several times in order to chop an onion. Now that I have this I do find myself enjoying cooking more often because the chore of the prep work is decreased. This food processor is easy to store and pull out of the cupboard and use frequently. The handle on this makes it easy to remove and install the bowl onto the motor. Unlike a smaller device that requires me to remove the lid to add items, this has the ability to plunge items down to through the large opening shoot. This is an amazing feature and eliminates inconsistent chopping.

I’ve gone through two food processors in the last few years. I don’t use it that often, but when I need one, I want it to work as well as last more than two years! (Can’t rate longevity on this one yet as I just bought it.) I like the size, and the fact that it’s so easy to use. I love the way it all stacks todether for easy storage. I love the sharp blade holder so I don’t cut myself when I’m extracting it from the stack. I like the design and the simplicity. It works well and holds a lot of ingredients. So far so good. Five stars!

The media could not be loaded. Β My Food processor was packaged in a recyclable brown cardboard box, no annoying plastic clamshells. The main unit and all its accessories were individually wrapped in plastic. Therefore, I couldnβt find any scratches on anything. I found inside the box the base unit with a 600 watts motor, a large, clear bowl with a handle, an s-shaped stainless steel blade along with a removable protective plastic cover, an s-shaped plastic blade for mixing dough, a detachable shaft, a disc for either rough or Julienne slicing, a clear bowl cover with feeding tube and feed tube pusher, a black flat spatula, plus an 8-page manual and a leaflet with tips on how to place the bowl and its cover and interlock them correctly. The first thing I did was to wipe the base unit clean and put anything else into my dishwasher even though I couldnβt read anything in the manual if it was safe to do so. Anyway, I donβt have time to handwash my dishes and I rather buy then another food processor that is dishwasher safe. Fortunately, all parts of the food processor were ok after I took them out of the dishwasher. By the way, I wash them in my dishwasherβs Baby Care mode where the temperature reaches slightly above 160Β° Fahrenheit. When I placed the food processor on my countertop, I noticed the suction feet that prevents me from accidentally slipping it over the edge. I could see a lock icon on the side of the base unit and on the large bowl. With the help of the previously mentioned leaflet, I was able to interlock the base unit, the bowl and its cover. If it isnβt in the correct lock position, the processor wonβt run. Thatβs a safety feature I appreciate as it prevents it from working without the cover on.There arenβt many complicated buttons. The unit has just one knob with four different positions. Position P stands for pulse function and I have to turn the know counterclockwise until it stops and hold it at that position. It then works at maximum speed. When I let loose, it goes back to zero or off position. The numbers 1 and 2 stand for the two different speeds; 2 is fastest.I use it mainly to make quinoa porridge for my baby who has a huge appetite for it. It takes only a few minutes for softly boiled quinoa to turn into porridge. I also chopped hazelnuts and followed the same instructions from the manual as if I were mixing dough by starting with speed 1 and then after 20 seconds increasing speed to 2. In the manual, it warns not to use it over four minutes continuously. However, as hazelnuts are tough to process, I paused after 2 minutes instead of the recommended four minutes. The hazelnuts were quite finely ground after 12 minutes and were ready for my smoothie. I used the plastic spatula to get all my ground hazelnuts out. However, the spatula isnβt wide and long enough for my taste as I get my hand in contact with the food. Nonetheless, Iβm not too upset about it for I already have a large silicone spatula myself. The Julienne slicer spiralized my butternut squash into almost perfect butternut squash noodles. I havenβt used the rough slicer yet but I find it quite handy that I only have to reverse a disc to switch from Julienne to rough slicing, one accessory less to clean. The processor itself isnβt horribly loud and noise level depends mostly on what type of food Iβm processing. From my experience, itβs the loudest with dry and hard foods like nuts. After each use, I rinse all parts and place them in the dishwasher. If the bowl is heavily soiled, I fill it with water and pour some drops of dish detergent.

My previous food processor died just prior to the Thanksgiving holiday. I was desperate to get a replacement before having to cook the Thanksgiving dinner for the family. I ordered this one and got it in two days from Amazon. Much to my delight it was the perfect solution! I love the size of it, because it is smaller than my previous 14-cup one for counter s pace. But it quickly and efficiently ground the biscuits, cornbread, celery and onions for the dressing and sliced the potatoes for the casserole. This processor saved the day for me and I was able to make the traditional southern dressing for the holiday for the family. I found it easier to clean than the previous one as well. Thanks for a great product!!!

I bought this food processor after looking at many. I bought this mainly for my 72-year wife who has swallowing problems and needs to be on a puree diet. Not only does it make good puree, itβs easy to clean. Everything is detached easily for cleaning and put together to make the next puree. It is just simple and easy to use. I recommend this food processor.

I was skeptical at first, because itβs lightweight. It was very easy to assemble, chopped everything with no problems, and the cleaning was not a struggle. Bonus was the sound was not loud when running it. Only concern was water stayed in the handle but it evaporated so I guess thatβs OK.

I have had my old food processor for over 40 years and the plastic finally just cracked. So I bought this one. I simply love it. I keep it on my top shelf in my pantry and I can get it down nd up super easy. Very user friendly and I LOVE the dough option blade.
