I used this blender to break the ginger, but the knife was too high to break the ginger under the glass bowl, So the ginger can’t break off under the glass bowl.

Smaller than I expected but that is my fault. Easier to clean than the huge ones and works great.

This is a GREAT food processor! I can make two batches of pesto at a time(about 8 cups). It is quieter, so easy to clean because you can take it apart so easily. The two blades work wondeerfully and the glass bowl can be put in the dishwasher–is very heavy duty. I had my other one for years and the plastic bin cracked, the motor was very loud and was a mess to clean. Another GREAT FEATURE is that it FITS in my cupboard that is 10 1/2 inches in height. I LOVE IT!!

The knife is very sharp. It takes few second to mince the pork and it is easy to assemble and clean, but you can only put small amout of food in the bow every time. I was not so happy that when i got the machine, it is a little rusty at the middle and i have to brush it 2 times to clean the rust out. And when i rinse it, there is yellow rust came out…?

This is not a fancy food processor by any stretch of the imagination. It lacks an opening on the lid for pouring oil and liquids into the bowl during processing. That said, I love this food processor for its simplicity. The glass bowl is high quality, thick and sturdy – it even includes a rubber ring at the base to hold the bowl in place during processing; the blades are super sharp (be careful with this, I accidentally cut my thumb when I was washing it); it has two speeds to choose from; and it works wonderfully chopping up veggies, fish (I’m a pescatarian so I never tried chopping up meat), processing sauces, and making bread crumbs. Just be aware that if you want the processor to chop your food super finely, there has to be enough volume in the bowl for that to work. For example, I tossed in a couple slices of bread, shredded in pieces, to make bread crumbs. The processor did a nice job making the crumbs but it wasn’t as fine as I wanted it to be no matter how long I processed it on high speed. Then I realized it’s because there were not enough bread slices in ratio to the bowl size for that to work. So it’s not the processor’s fault. What I love most is how easy the lid fits onto the bowl. I absolutely HATE traditional food processors with lids that are just impossible for me to fit correctly, with all the twists and turns to click into place. Honestly, this drove me nuts with the traditional processors. With the Vastelle processor this is a non issue. I highly recommend this food processor if you’re looking for something simple.(Here’s a tip: if a recipe calls for gradually pouring liquid into the mix while processing, just stop the processor, open the lid and add about 1/4 amount of liquid into the mix, then put the lid back on and process for a few seconds; then stop and add another 1/4 amount of liquid, put the lid back on and process a few more seconds, and so forth. I used this method to make basil pesto and it turned out great.)

Works perfectly! It’s got two blades at different heights, so it works awesomely for mixing whatever you want, even filling up the container fully from the get-go

It worked perfectly. It was quieter than I thought it would be. I used it for chopping vegetables, and also for mincing ham for ham salad. I am very happy with it.

This thing is awesome. Beware the blades are very sharp -do not cut your finger. The powerful motor chops up 4 chicken breasts into pieces the size of a grain of rice, or smaller, in 5 seconds. The only question i have is “why didn’t i buy this sooner!)
