So first off, I bought a Chefman 6 can mini fridge about 2 months back. I currently live in the guest house on a larger property and I have access to a conventional fridge/freezer that is in the garage, but I don’t want to have to run out to the garage everytime I want a cold drink especially when it’s super hot or pouring rain. I’ve had zero issues with my little 6 can Chefman, but my boyfriend had expressed interest in getting another mini fridge for his man-cave/art room that is located in a converted RV on the property. So with his birthday coming up in a few days I had been doing some research on getting him a little 6 can fridge as I previously had, and if the fridge I bought wasn’t on back order with a delivery date a month past his birthday, I would have got him what I ordered. I’m so happy that I didn’t though!I decided to go with the black Frigidaire as I’m familiar with the brand, and the cost was within the amount I wanted to spend ($40 max budget – it cost $36.67 + tax and I did buy the warranty). However I was beyond pleasantly surprised when the package arrived as I seemed to overlook the fact that I was buying a 9 can fridge, not a 6 can model. This posed a small problem for me as his converted art space is rather small so everything I buy I have to measure out to ensure that the item fits in the space. The simple solution was to repack my 6 can fridge, and set up the larger Frigidaire model in my room. Obviously the swap isn’t completely altruistic but I know he’ll be happy with my 6 can fridge as he expressed wanting the same model, now he’ll be getting the exact same model ?As for the technical stuff, the Chefman does have a hot or cold switch however I wouldn’t ever use it for heating so I don’t mind that my fridge only gets cold ? Aside from that, both units are nice and quiet, but the Chefman produced way more heat out of its vents so the Frigidaire wins in that category, and the most important aspect is of course how cold the unit gets! Both do a good job of keeping drinks cold but the Frigidaire seems to keep the drinks slightly colder so I’d say the Frigidaire is a superior product. Unless something drastically changes, my rating is absolutely 5/5!I attached a few pictures to show the size, it sits on top of my little pantry that I keep chips and other non perishable foods in. I will also be cleaning it out after realizing the visible mess in the photos. The fridge really is perfect size for my needs. (There is a little 2 inch piece of cardboard wedged underneath the front of the fridge as the door has trouble closing without it – this isn’t a design flaw, it’s due to the surface I’m keeping it on)

The media could not be loaded. ย Pros: This thing will make your drinks noticeably cooler, especially as this planet continues to overheat thanks to major companies thinking “carbon offsets” are actually trustworthy tax write-offs. I have no complaints about the relative coolness this thing can induce in whatever you store within it. I’m also a fan of the retro 50s aesthetic but am glad I didn’t pay the premium cost for a pink version.Cons: Despite being marketed as a nine-can freezer, this thing can only house about seven standard 12 oz cans of soda due to slight narrowing along its internal sides. As you can see in my video, I can fit two cans sideways in the top, resting on the removable shelf, and another five, arranged upright like the 5 on a six-sided die in the bottom portion. Trying to place three cans in the top rack or 6 cans in the bottom pokes out too much to properly close the appreciably thick door; had this been properly sized to hold 9 cans, I would’ve given it 5s across the board.Nitpick: Condensation naturally develops over time in the rear of the interior so you’ll occasionally want to empty that out-unless you like pulling out cooled items with some wet bottoms.

Perfect for storing breast milk over night so you donโt have to make multiple trips up and down stairs! No complaints for what we use it for!

Got it for using in the car during trips. For a portable fridge I wasnโt expecting much in size but still thought it could fit more stuff. I mean, it works great if you just put cans inside but for trying to fit different products it gets tricky. Although I used it for classical Coke glass bottles and it fit great. Also I think it works better indoors and when the weather is mild to chilli (I used for extra space in a hotel room) but donโt expect miracles using it in the car during a beach trip in the summer, because stuff donโt get so cold. Plus, itโs a little noisy, indeed, not enough to bother me but be conscious about that. Itโs ok but I consider it useful at least for my needs.

It was just what I got and wanted for the price for a durable very inexpensive and easy to use I’ll highly recommend it.

It replaced a mystery brand that claimed to heat or cool; and the replaced unit failed due to what looked like a cold solder join in the power/cold/heat switch that overheated and melted after a year or so.This does cool only. So far works just fine, I know it won’t work as well in the summer in my van for obvious reasons. It works keeping drinks below room (van) temp, but don’t expect your stick of butter to be firm and stick-shaped in a van in Arizona in July. ๐

I have this little fridge sitting on my book shelf in my office/kitten foster room and I LOVE IT. I foster neonatal kittens and use this to store formula, cold water for mixing, and medications that require refrigeration. It has made all feedings, but especially middle of the night feedings so much easier!! Plus the light pink color is super cute! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This is a chiller not a fridge.Put something cold in it and will stay cold for over a day. You want to cool down something? Add a glass with a few ice cubes. Will last for two days
