From the Mississippi, down to the east coast. I’m a fan of how it toasts my bagels in the morning.

I ordered this toaster because my cheap $15 one caught on fire. I needed one that would last me a long time and toast my bread, bagels, and frozen waffles. This one works perfectly and gets the job done. Not much else to say!

I bought a $60 toaster a couple years ago (Oster) and it felt cheap out of the box. Sure enough that one stopped working (disappointing after I had my previous toaster for 10+ years). I was skeptical of this one based on it’s price and only having a few reviews and considered buying one for $150. Well……I’m so glad I went with the GE!! It immediately feels heavy and sturdy out of the box. It looks super sharp and I wondered about fingerprints. We use ours for 3 breakfasts daily and other meals as well and it still looks great! I attached a photo with no prep. You’re basically only touching the handle and maybe a button occasionally so it doesn’t get too smudged.I’m not a toast snob, but I think this does an excellent job toasting waffles, English muffins, and bread as long as you adjust the settings to your liking. It does not seem like it would accommodate extra long bread if that’s your thing but in the month+ of use, we haven’t found anything we couldn’t toast. There’s nothing else I can say. This is a gorgeous, well-made toaster and I think you should also own one.

This is a nice looking toaster that works great! I originally purchased the Whall toaster that was listed at $139.99 but marked down to $49.99 that was supposedly stainless steel and I wanted it to be a good match for my Breville oven and espresso machine. That one turned out to be a dud that had very little actual stainless and was mostly painted silver. This GE is about 85% stainless with some chrome on top and some grey plastic on the bottom, and matches my Breville appliances so well that you’d almost swear it was Breville and not GE. My only complaint is that the listing incorrectly lists the weight as being 5.66 pounds when in fact it’s only a bit over 2 pounds. The weight compared to other toasters was one of my primary reasons for purchasing the GE because I thought it would be less likely to pop wheelies when you push the handle down like some toasters do. Well, the toaster looks good and works so well that I won’t deduct a star for that.

My only complaint is that toasting is not uniform. It toasts darker at the bottom of the toaster and lighter at the top. Not a deal breaker, but it is a little annoying.

I got this toaster to replace a two slot model. It works pretty much as advertised, but it does not toast that differently on each level setting like one of the video reviews showed. It takes two runs to get toast as dark as the video review showed me. Not really an issue for me since I don’t like burnt toast anyway.

There’s a Bagel button, frozen button and cancel buttons. You have to play around with the settings. I have to set it pretty high to get it to have some color but it works.

It’s in good quality in general, nothing to complain. I like the cancel button, so I don’t have to unplug it to stop it halfway down.
