Ya! it’s more than what I was expecting… If I could, I would give-it 10 star / 5.I have an older, rounder Morgan Freeman that work fantastic for many years, but for the bacon, it was soso. The thing doesn’t fully close and is on the small side. I did have to cut the bacon and it was curving and a bit of a pain. and it was taking over 45 minute for a nice crispy batch (1#) of bacon. Now this one, no cutting needed and fit 5 slice (or 6) full slice. It close on the bacon, keeping it in contact of both cooking surface. It take like 4 minutes to cook to a crisp bacon with no need to move-it or do anything. It come out allot flatter, no rubbery section, all done. Perfect to be in a sandwich or crush to put in a salade (and / or eat-it like a chip XD ).The temperature is perfect for that application, it cook efficiently, doesn’t burn-it, nor undercook-it. The heat distribution was flawless, no noticeable issue there. It would be great to have a control but, I find-it simple to use, efficient and give excellent result for the bacon. Some other stuff maybe another story but as a bacon cooking device, I can’t ask for any better. On top of that, cleaning is a breeze nothing stuck, stick or stain. I like the lighter color, it help seeing stuff if you don’t clean-it well. I use a paper-towel to wipe the big stuff and a soapy sponge to finish the job.The drip pan is on the shallow side but a pound of bacon well cook fill-it like 1/3 and a poring edge could improve a bit but again not a big deal.A big plus is the ability to make-it flat (horizontal). I didn’t try-it but it’s certainly a plus.Store vertical, again another plus there. The hooks to hold the cord is also useful. The only thing I can say that can be improve is the coard length, it’s like 24″ in back of the device a bit short. The drip pan with a emptying edge and deeper could be a tad better and a temperature control to cook other stuff would make that excellent product something better for any (other) cooking .It’s a well taught, well design product and I highly recommend-it.I pay $90 for-it (thanks again Covid) and well worth-it (time-saving, easy to use in a busy kitchen and frustration-free) and now it’s $63… Wow, I may get a second-one LOL.I’m very satisfy, hope you will too.

Without the detachable plates I had on my old Foreman grill, this took some getting used to. It is not as easy to clean when you can’t take them off to wash them down. It takes some work! But….it is worth it to me as I love the lighter weight, thin streamlined design, and the size of the grill. It can fit 6 chicken breasts easily. The cook is even and quick. My only issue is with the clean-up! Everything else is great.

Overall this grill is just ok. I had an older large George Foreman grill that I have had for over 15 years. The non-stick surface is starting to wear a little bit making it harder to clean. So, I thought I’d try out a new one. There are two big issues with this new grill. The first is the logo they decided to put on the grill plates inside. This means that instead of a nice smooth surface to clean, you have to scrub the lettering inside. It takes about as long to just clean this area as the entire rest of the grill. The second issue is that the outside 1-2 inches drop significantly in temp. This means for even cooking you only can use the center of the grill. So, you end up with a much smaller cooking area than advertised. Using a laser thermometer I found about a 40F drop in temp on the outside perimeter vs inside. So, unfortunately I will be giving this one away and going back to my old grill.

I love this thing. I debated and debated for so long and I am glad I went with this one. It is so big! Plenty big for my family of five! It is easy to clean even though I was not sure I wanted it since the plates didn’t remove. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Plus side…large area to cook with…heats up quickly and evenly…reasonably priced. Downside… unit arrived in its original box placed in a Amazon box…was taped on one end. Immediately I smelled a very odd and pungent smell..so much so,…i immediately threw the box and packing outside in the garbage. Unit did retain some of the smell..but thought it would burn off. It did cook up a couple of burgers in eight minutes…however,…there is clean up. I originally had the george Foreman smaller grill with removeable plates..adjustable temp….in which this unit doesnt have. You cant submerge it in water so cleaning is done with plates attached. IF you cook more than two items like burgers or chicken…this unit is good…. I may buy the unit with the removeable plates, temp,..etc but smaller cooking surface for normal use. Then,..when there is a demand for large orders…I’ll bring this unit out. The Foreman GRILL IS VERY NICE; sometimes a cheaper price means something is lacking

We’re a family of 9, and we use our Foreman grill daily, often multiple times. We’ve used them for years, and I was very excited years back to find the 144 square inch versions. This model is smaller than that, but more rectangular and has a new coating that seems better than the old. I’ve always been nervous about the old surface flaking off. Haven’t had this one very long so the surface is still intact, so I’m hoping it lasts much longer than the previous kind. So far I love it.

This grill works good for burgers. Excellent for winter or super hot seasons when you don’t want to go outside. We use this grill when it’s too hot out (south Texas) and too cold (<50) also when its raining (once a month lol) and about a week after because mosquitoes are out for blood. It's also easy to cool hotdogs for the kids vs heating up the grill and going in and out letting in flys. But a traditional grill does cook the burgers better. This is only better it terms of convenience.
