I read other reviews with complaints about water leaking all over the counter. The filter holder needs to be placed with the tab to the back, seated properly. If a guest were to make the coffee, it is not obvious to do that. I only noticed due to having a leak issue on first run and closely looked at the holder…under bight light and saw tiny print with the instruction. Nowhere in the booklet did it say to do that. The lid was hard to open and close at first but after a couple of uses it is no problem….make sure it snaps in place. The carafe leaves a small amount of coffee in it unless you turn it almost upside down. The carafe is hard to clean the interior with a dish rag due to a narrow opening… I am a woman with thin hands and can barely get my hand holding the rag in it… my husband has to use a bottle brush. With that all said, it is a good little coffee pot for the amount we paid. Coffee tastes good enough (we are not picky about coffee) and it makes about 2 measuring cups of coffee.I cannot speak for longevity since we have only had it about 3 weeks.

This is an amazing espresso machine for the price. As a Barista on a budget, It’s really hard to find a double boiler espresso machine for under $800. Gevi has not only made one. They made a good one. The steam wand is easy to clean and the parts remove intuitively to clean in the sink. It comes with a 58mm double spout portafilter with 3 baskets. I bought a bottomless one to see how the shots pull/pour. It has 3 grind and pull settings for 1-shot, 2-shot, and manual. The manual allows you to grind and pull to your preferred amounts. Scales are a little hard to fit but can be done, had to turn mine sideways. You will need shorter glasses especially with the double spout. Espresso pulls between 9-12 bars and pull an amazing flavored shot on almost any espresso roast I throw in there. You get the full flavor of the shot and it’s complex on the pallet for almost every bean I have thrown in the hopper. Biggest complaint about the machine is the grinder. If you are going below 5 on the grind setting the grinds will clump up in the bottom of grinder and you will need to remove it manually. I vacuum out the hopper and clean the grinder and parts all the way top to bottom when this happens and it has helped me reduce clogs. Love this machine.

The reason I give this 4 stars is because it slides around some when turning it off or on unless you use one hand to hold it. Other than that it’s great.

It works awesome but you have to put a cloth or rubber mat under or it will slip around…

I use it to make two cups of coffee. It is exactly the right size for me! It is very easy to use and to clean.

I am giving the coffee maker as a gift for Christmas so I’m not able to rate it at this time.

I wanted a 4 cup pot that was simple to use. This is it! No bells or whistles, it just does the job without taking up a lot of space. Do not recommend the mesh filter. It is not fine enough and some coffee sediment comes through, but a paper filter works great and produces good coffee in very little time.
