Easy to use, plug it in set temperature dial and go. Cooked hamburgers perfect. With nice grill marks. Not do easy to clean in between grill. Use non abrasive sponge. Does have less smoke than Cuisinart griddles and more space. Has a drip pan underneath to catch. All in all I’ve used it once and was satisfied. It is nonstick and directions say not to use nonstick spray. But not sure how that will work once nonstick wears off. Do not immerse grill part in water. Have to carefully wipe off while protecting delicate electrical parts. Clean up can be tedious because of that. Not dishwasher safe.

Like others said: It cooks unevenly and there is no indicator to tell where to turn the temperature knob to so you can tell how hot you have it set to.It does heat very quickly and is mostly easy to clean and use, so I give them credit for that.If you look at what looks like support on the grill, it’s actually the heating element (it has kind of an oval shape), you will notice it only covers a small part of the grill. Anything not directly above (or close to it) the heating element, doesn’t cook as fast as the rest.I did make some good steak and salmon (actually tastes great), but I had to microwave parts of them because they were under cooked.

I grill on my glass top range surface right under the exhaust fan which vents into kitchen. There is smoke during cooking but is taken care of by the exhaust fan. It does not make my house smoky. I think if you have an exhaust fan that vents to the outside, it would be perfect.Grills quickly, and it so great to have easy temperature control.

I have a small kitchen in my apartment, everything is electric, so I needed something to jazz it up. I can’t BBQ here, unless I go out to the courtyard, and I like to grill chicken, fish and veggies. I was surprised how well this works! I can even do fire-roasted veggies and peppers on it and with a little bit of “Liquid Smoke” I did some bbq chicken thighs that were the hit of game day!!! It’s a fun little gadget, part of my regular repertoire now!!
